  2. And yet, down 5-0 and with Tim the only hit they needed a spark somehow...
  3. Cease really impressed me. If he can throw that hook for strikes and locate the heat he is gonna be something.
  4. Can't blame them. As revenues go up they should either go into the pockets of the players or the fans.
  5. If it comes to it, the Sox better bite his hand off at the 1 year deal. It'd work out so well for both parties, Moose would probably have a better shot at the WS signing with the Sox. You'd almost certainly get 2nd round++ value

Davidson smokes one out of here. 8 - 4 Sox B5

If you're having trouble on Chrome, press the icon next to https: in the address bar; it looks like an i with a circle around it. From there you'll see Flash, change it to "Always allow on this website." The webcast will then work.
  8. Elmore and May continue the inning with singles. The pitcher leaves after cutting his hand??? May broke his bat, did he get caught with shrapnel?
  9. Delmonico doubles down the left field line, moves to 3rd on a Davidson squeaker through the hole between short and 3rd and scores on a Wellington Castillo flyout. 1-0 Sox.
  10. Top 2 0-0. Santiago struggled in the 1st and got a bases loaded dp to end the inning
  11. This thread is so dumb you should be banned
  12. 103 wins, we're going the distance baby let's goooo
  13. Fernando Tatis Jr is a top 50 prospect and rising. Luis Robert is a top 25 prospect. Micker Adolfo is righting the ship and showing his talent. He's doing just fine.
  14. https://twitter.com/georgeofman/status/941493980201660416 Ofman says no Gio or Kopech
  15. Listen, the Os are a dumb organization, not too disimilar to our own stupidity about 6 years ago. Would something silly like Avi + Adams get it done? I wouldn't be surprised.
  16. It's worth listening to Boston and then hanging up when they don't meet the value set. And I don't think they can. And now that Moncada has weighed in, the asking price is just a little higher.
  17. QUOTE (KnightsOnMintSt @ Oct 29, 2017 -> 12:35 PM) I wonder if there is a chance that we see Eloy in Chicago before September. Have to think he'll make it to Charlotte fairly quickly. If he continues to crush the ball, maybe we see him with the White Sox in August? We'll need him for the Wild Card push
  18. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 23, 2017 -> 02:05 PM) Rumors Sanders will run as independent. Hard to figure out his angle. He's running as an independent in Vermont.
  19. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 20, 2017 -> 04:13 PM) You should really realize how young some of these players are before saying some of this stuff especially cause a lot of it isn't true. And if it was, wouldn't you be ecstatic that your team could make it that far with half of your core being like you say they are? They got through a young Brewers team and a Nats team that collapsed in Game 5. Pirates, Cards, Brewers have a lot of young talent and room to grow. I don't think this Cubs team ever looked very good. Arrieta's probably gone. Zobrist and Heyward look done. There's a lot more holes then people realize. In many ways they're worryingly close to being an MLB equivalent of the Hawks, where their top 2 mean they have a chance at the playoffs every year but the front office is going to have to do a lot of work to get around aging players and money. They made the NLCS 3 years in a row sure, but in 2 of those years Bryant and Rizzo looked mediocre in the playoffs. Everything isn't nearly as jolly and fun as some people are making out. And personally, I'd be furious the way they showed up against the Dodgers, I don't care if they're the best team in baseball. What do they have to take home after this series? A finger wag? Neat.
  20. He's on the team for the next year (in august)
  21. I can't believe half of these fans are in the "well at least we made it this far!" camp To me, the shine really came off this team. Schwarber, bust. Russell, average. Baez, average bat ++ defense. Lester, the end is nigh. Hendricks, took 4 months to get his velocity back. Playing Happ in CF is a joke. And Bryant didn't play well at all.
  22. Q is going to have to endure an entire offseason of mouthbreathers like Kaplan going in on him. I wonder how he'll take to it
  23. QUOTE (GenericUserName @ Sep 22, 2017 -> 02:33 PM) Me too, but if he falls to our second pick, is it worth the risk then? Yes, he'd be offensive Alec Hansen
