I really don't think he was. He had 2 strikes on him, and as he caught the ball he began to turn away when Manny said something. Roger does have a tendency to lose his fastball up and i think that's all it was. Oh and Pedro throwing Zim to the ground is f***ing bulls***. The man is 80 years old and he grabs his head and throws him to the ground? Really, he could have just blocked the damn "punch" if thats what you want to call it. Pedro is gay now. Go Yanks.
  2. Well i guess i should reveal myself. I'm actually God.
  3. I love how he picked the Sox to make it to the playoffs and not the Cubs because they're choke artists. What a douche.
  4. I couldn't help but laugh at the fans after Jeter's homer. They all cried. HE GONE!
  5. Which team are we talking about? The team that wants to win, or the team who doesn't feel like running to first base.
  6. When i heard "And Thomas loses one into the night!" Because i was freaking out and could barely watch. OMG. Best Game EVER.
  7. Maybe Daley will burn it when they lose?
  8. You can put it on the board yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesss. Marcus Giles, Cub Killer. Hope Prior wasn't out there.
  9. :fthecubs HE GAWN.
  10. Bonds showed single handedly that he is the greatest baseball player ever today, without getting a single hit. In his 2nd at bat he walked (it was a close pitch) and had he swung at that pitch who knows, he could have been out. But instead there were runners on 1st and 2nd. Alfonzo bunts, Aurilla ends up scoring. In the 8th, Bonds is INTENTIONALLY WALKED WITH 2 OUTS AND NO RUNNERS ON! He then proceeds to steal 2nd (somewhat errant throw by the pitcher) and Alfonso again doubles him in. Barry Bonds scored those runs, whether he gets the RBI or not, it was all him. Oh yeah, and Jason Schmidt can pitch, that helped.
  11. 30/30. They say he's quicker then Ichrio with more pop. And he can play D.
  12. Everett goes 4-5. Please god stay.
  13. Has hell frozen over? Sigh. f***ing baseball man...

  15. Your sig isnt giving me a smile....
  16. Oh God how i would love to see Sammy k with the bases loaded Game 5 of the ALDS. "And Sosa swings...STRIKE THREE! The Cubs lose *insert team name here* goes to the NLCS! "
  17. Ask them about homerun and they can give you a 3.4 million word essay.
  18. I would hate AJ Pierzeyunaberaisnki if he were on the Sox. I might even start going full-time Giants.
  19. Don't forget about the "Yes Hawk" "I agree Hawk" "Exactly" that DJ throws in every other sentence
  20. Heh...Its funny you mention that... Danny Wrong is pitching a 1 hitter going into the 7th im up 6-0. He gets hit around and suddenly its 6-4 with 2 runners on and i bring in Damaso. 2 outs, a fly ball right to Valentin. He settles under it and COMPLETELY misses it. Everyone scores, runner on 3rd 2 outs 6-6, i get out of it. Now, bases loaded top 9 6-6 1 out looking for double play. Ground ball to Jose, right through his legs. On the throw in, he MISSES the cut off. Clears the bases and the score ends up being 12-9. The Sox miss the playoffs. It's a conspiracy man.
  21. Oh please, how was he supposed to know that Koch and Ritchie would turn into such busts? Really now, i mean the two guys were two of the best in their respective leaguse at what they were doing. He can't forsee into the future and know what's going to happen.
  22. Was it just me or was that inning like the entire season all over again? Mickentizcwackz makes the phenomenal play and the inning looks grim once again. Konerko pops up and it all looks like its over. Rowand singles and suddenly we're still fighting. And then, Crede walks. And once again, we're alive and kicking. Then Sandy, pops out in the infield to end it all and crush Sox fans once again.... Sigh... Go Stros. :fthecubs
