Injuries: can the training staff be blamed?
Old school thinking was weight training was bad for baseball players. Maybe there was truth to that and players today are over conditioned

The TLR Manager Thread
It’s hilarious you think calling someone a lib is an insult on a message board of a team that is located smack dab in the middle of one of the most liberal collections of districts in all the land.

TA7 Isn't going to let the ship sink
Yeah you’re probably right. I’m more worried about Cleveland with their pitching though. If McKenzie figures out how to throw strikes their rotation is stacked

TA7 Isn't going to let the ship sink
Cleveland has Ramirez, Reyes and Rosario Twins don’t have the pitching

TA7 Isn't going to let the ship sink
I prefer having the better contact/speed guy behind mercedes setting up the bottom of the order.

Madrigal Moncada Anderson Abreu Mercedes Eaton Vaughn Grandal Hamilton

TA7 Isn't going to let the ship sink
I think now might be the time to move madrigal to the top of order and Anderson to the middle. We need a more consistent hitter in a run production spot to off set the loss of Robert’s bat and open the nine hole for Hamilton, who is the only option to come anywhere close to Robert’s defense in CF.

True

Luis Robert grade 3 strain/torn Hip Flexor, est. out 12-16 weeks
The only examples I could find were both from 2013 nba season, David Lee and Carl Landry. Both were age thirty and came back the next season, but Lee was never a starter again

Luis Robert grade 3 strain/torn Hip Flexor, est. out 12-16 weeks
Some sources are saying he’s out for the year. My impression is a broken bone would be far more favorable.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
Grandal is never going to drive an offense. It’s all on TA, Abreu, Moncada, Mercedes and Vaughn now. Agreed on the Royals though

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
More likely to send them Collins to back up Contreras. Contreras was their catcher of the future anyway

Luis Robert grade 3 strain/torn Hip Flexor, est. out 12-16 weeks
Aside from the high amount of rbi, I’d say this has been the typical level of production from Eaton

Luis Robert grade 3 strain/torn Hip Flexor, est. out 12-16 weeks
There must be something wrong with the way players are conditioning. It’s crazy a guy with Robert’s physical abilities can suffer an injury like this from simply running.

The giants just traded for him though

5/2 Chicago White Sox vs. Cleveland 1:10 PM
It’s not difficult to find when you’ve got a the last guy on the bench who is hitting .204/.312/.344 since 2018 batting fifth as DH while a .400 hitter rides the pine

HOF brain. Lineups aren’t official until delivered to the ump

Why no Eaton vs Plesac?

Indians @ Sox 5/1--3:00 Central
Seriously? The Sox already had two days off. And they have two days off in middle of upcoming week. They don’t need any breaks

Comeback Player of the Year
I’m guessing the final 140 games of the season may have some influence on the outcome.
