There's nowhere for the fences to go... The distance between the fence and the stands is a couple of feet... That's not a significant enough amount to warrant a change... The only area where it's possible to easily expand the park is in Center field and they aren't losing balls like crazy over the CF wall.

Felix Diaz has a 1.10 ERA over his last 16.1 IP(2ER). I can't find better stretch like that from any of Cotts, Adkins, Politte. After starting his ML career allowing 11HR's in his first 23 IP, Diaz has settled down and has gone 23 innings without allowing a HR. Wilson Valdez got his first ML start at SS -- He was 2-3 w/ and RBI. -- Jose Valentin's last 2 hit game was August 10th. Valentin has 2 RBI's(one was a sac fly) and 0HR since August 10th while batting .130(10-77)

He was, but I don't think the sox can take the $11.2MIL+ gamble that he will return to that form, or even play again.

Funny You should mention it -- Back at the old bears board I nearly got laughed off the thing for suggesting the bears take QG in the 3rd round last season... Russell is exactly the same type of back as Griffin. You need a good O-line for them to be effective, but if you've got a line, they're freakin dangerous.

Back before we signed TJ, I thought that an A-train/Russel backfield would look pretty good.
