Hard Pass. Last game was March 2, 2020 in Arizona. Went to many games in 2019 and was excited. October 29, 2020 ended the excitement and interest in supporting this team. Perhaps will return when Tony and Jerry are gone. Until then, the wallet is sealed. Also, I follow games anywhere, sometimes on long walks. Don't live in a basement. Where are you typing from this pathetic game? October 29, 2020

Isolating Position Players and Managers, Ricky's 2019 team would beat Tony's 2022 team facing / starting identical pitching staffs. Sad how this team has regressed the past two seasons, worse than a tanking team. Glad they are using Kelly here. Wouldn't have minded Josh Harrison either. Need to save pitchers for the next two days. -

In terms of keeping plays in front of them (playing deep), I don't think they have another option. Engel still possible gimpy and their four DHs playing the corners. It would help if they had even league average defensive alignment, but they have been among the worst in baseball after Ricky left and Tony brought in ShelleyBall. This aspect has been horrid even with a healthy Robert and Engel. -

He's still the best option for CF with Luis Robert out, and Hahn/Tony going with three catchers, four DHs (Sheets, Vaughn. Pollock and Eloy) available for RF/LF, and Leury waiting in the wings. Tony won't play Heasley or any other AAA call-up, so this is their shitty options after four days to think about it: CF: Engel or Leury RF: Vaughn or Sheets LF: Eloy or Pollock -

The Sox went from having one of the best defensive teams in baseball, to being among the six worst with the abysmal outfield play the primary culprit. On a positive note, Jimmy Lambert is four outs away from a shutout over his past six relief appearances. -

Here is the clip. A line drive just over the shortstop, should have been scored a triple and error, but wasn't. https://www.mlb.com/video/karkovice-s-inside-the-parker -

No, and he is not credited with one. Would you believe Ron Karkovice hit the last Inside the Park Grand Slam either for or against the White Sox? Not surprised it happened at Comiskey Park. It's been nearly 100 years since the White Sox gave up an inside the park Grand Slam. Thanks. Their owners there moved from their longtime Portage Park location I believe 10ish years ago. Our family would bring home Sammies for us kids, and Chinese Lings which was a few blocks west for occasional Saturday dinners. Usually get their cheese burgers, but will try their beef the next trip.
