  1. Ricky knew how to manage the core. Team would be over .500 if he was managing this season, even with the injuries.
  2. TWTW The Will To Wait. Sox haven't had it collectively this season. Needs to change quick or it's adios, amigos.
  3. If he's healthy, he should be starting in RF against a LHP.
  4. Sadly for Sox fans, this is who Hahn is targeting.
  5. Agreed. The key take away for me from that chart is the fact Abreu is 15th among veterans, but 71st overall, emphasizing the importance of capitalizing on selecting and developing the best young players to be among the top winning teams in baseball. Tim Anderson and is the Sox' leader, Luis Robert is right there with Abreu, and Vaughn is within striking distance and doing well for a 24 year old. Burger has done OK, and the rest of the team is ranked low to among the worst in MLB. https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/valuation/batters/chicago-white-sox/gmpct-60/active/
  6. Sox - O - Gram Young White Sox (Sheets, Vaughn, Zavala) - Make sure Tony isn't flashing the take sign these final two innings before swinging at a pitch. Signed, Yermin Mercedes
  7. Noted Defensively Challenged Chicago Outfielders - Average dWAR per 162 games (Bold = Active White Sox) Carlos Lee -0.8 Kyle Schwarber -1.2 Ralph Garr -1.4 Ron Kittle -1.4 Dave Kingman -1.4 Eloy Jimenez -1.5 Nick Castellanos -1.6 Andrew Vaughn -2.1 Gavin Sheets -2.4
  8. First of all, Dallas Keuchel is hypocritical scum Second of all, Dallas has tossed his teammates, coaches, and managers under the bus since he arrived at Spring Training in 2020. He has pitched like absolute horseshit outside of a couple of weeks in 2020, sucked so bad the Sox paid him millions to GTFO, and he continues to suck with his 10 ERA in Arizona. He is the worst form of clubhouse cancer, the player who sucks ass, is way overpaid, and does nothing but b**** and suck his entire time here.
  9. But most of all, as Steve Stone and Rick Hahn proclaim every chance they get, it's the fans fault.
  10. Compare and contrast to the White Sox, who provide minor leaguers slum housing arrangements, and have creepy pederasts like Omar Vizquel groom disabled children while other coaches like Wes Helms watch and laugh while it's happening. Perhaps this is one of the reasons team development ranks among the worst in baseball year in and year out. Here come the Sox, the Mighty White Sox Take the attack, Yeah, and we'll back you White Sox.......
  11. Someone posted earlier Shane Riordan fabricated the entire story, which if true exposes him a lying sack of shit, and discredits further the wind sock trash media company he works for. Back to the business of White Sox Baseball. I stated the Sox needed to go 8-4 to put them over .500 heading into the final seven days before the trade deadline. This would increase the chances that the Sox could possibly be buyers at the deadline. They now need to go 6-2 vs. Minnesota and Cleveland after the ASB.
  12. One of the healthiest teams in baseball under Herm Schneider and then Brian Ball. Tony was given carte blanche over the clubhouse, and Brian Ball was forced out the week they announced Tony's hiring. It's been a shit show since. 2020: Zero Hamstring Injuries 2021: Nine Strained Hamstring Injuries 2022: Five Strained Hamstring Injuries
  13. 2022 YTD Stats Carlos Rodon 17 Starts, 2.70 ERA Yermin Mercedes .906 OPS Jake Lamb 1.004 OPS OK, Rodon is the only starter here, but will be interesting to see how Mercedes and Lamb contribute the rest of the season, in a proper role, with solid coaching behind them.
  14. Five Highest Paid White Sox 2022: $88.4M / -0.5 bWAR: Abreu (2.4 bWAR); Lynn (-0.7); Grandal (-1.1); Keuchel (-1.2); Pollock (0.1).
  15. Sadly, they post a few of Tony's answers per month. Likely don't want anyone to put together an embarrassing superclip. https://www.mlb.com/whitesox/video/topic/white-sox-manager-postgame Sounds like someone in the Organization wanted to zing La Russa, leaving the "La Russa What Are You Doing?" heckler, and the Dodgers announcers clowning on La Russa in this clip. https://www.mlb.com/whitesox/video/larussa-on-walking-turner
  16. Even if they don't want to use Haesley, they could use Davis Martin as a long man in the event a starter doesn't have it early. That said, Davis is likely on Tony's permanent shit list for pitching a strike to Jose Ramirez.
  17. Not mad, just thought it was hyped BS. Took 20 minutes to say not much of anything. A 1-2 minute twitter clip of something substantial is enough for me at this point, in terms of Score content. They're shifting to 90% Bears talk for the next 10 months, so no need to turn it on anymore.
  18. Too sweet for me. I like my beer and bourbon harsh and bitter, just like my Sox Fandom. There is no position Eloy will excel at. They should have worked on Eloy in RF this Spring. Pollock and the other two DHs are much better suited to play LF/DH than RF. I don't expect Eloy to be good in RF either, but doubt it would be any greater of an injury risk than anything else he does as long as he get enough reps out there.
  19. Lucas has a good shot. Lynn is a steak on the grill far too long, he's charred inside and out.
  20. Nah, Hahn will extend Lynn again and bring Keuchel back on a "team friendly" deal.
  21. Looks like Tony's list as well. Two clowns with no business managing in MLB the past decade.
  22. They have the plan. End games as quickly as possible and Finalize their October 6 vacation plans before inflation jacks them up further.
