I’d rather see Luery, who I like to be traded to free up some cash, Mendick is a bit younger and can play all 3 infield spots, granted Garcia can play the outfield but so does Engel in a reserve spot. We also got some dead weight in the bullpen. But that’s another topic.

I’d love to see a bench next year with Romy, Elvis on it. I could even live with Romy at second if we pour money into another quality starter and or a legit right fielder. Maybe even Elvis at second??

No excuses tonight, it’s the A-Team minus Anderson, but Elvis is not a bad replacement and doing a great job defensively. Romy also holding his own. Need the next 3. Especially Thursday afternoon.

Can’t be a complete shocker. Very shitty teams are tough to sweep when they’re at home. Although we were all counting on it.

If we have a chance to get a good starter and or a legit right fielder, I’d rather spend the money on that and I could live with Romy and let him develop at second. Also what about Elvis. Anyone know his contract status? Is he a FA after the season? I’d rather resign Elvis and let Harrison walk, and I think Luery has slight trade value.

I’d still leave him out there. Rather have him out there than Luery Harrison also

Remember on 9/5 with 28 games left I said 21 and 7 would be needed. So far my prediction is a ahead of schedule I believe. Minnesota is fading but Cleveland looks tough again it’s not going to come down to offense. It comes down to pitching. Minnesota doesn’t have it, Cleveland and we do. A sweep would them at 6-1 that’s 25% or the 28 games I talked about. A sweep leaves room for an extra loss. We are 3 out in the loss column and Cleveland needs to make up a few games I guess. Those 3 games Cleveland needs to make up could be wins also. Cannot take the foot off the gas. Need a big win today and rest Hendriks. Lynne has stepped up big time his last few starts.
