Ok, let’s start with the hiring of Pedro, I was sort of ok with it. Everyone should be given a chance. I’ve watched the 1st 5 games and I question a few things he’s done. Without getting into great detail, I think some of his lineups are questionable. His use of the bullpen in definitely questionable. Leaving Kopech in there as long as he did is cause for concern. Did he forget that tomorrow is an off day and he could used the bullpen a lot earlier. I’ll be patient the 1st month as long as they end up around.500. Like I said, everyone deserves a chance.

Was not a fan of the Clevinger signing when it happened. And when the charges came out, I went nuts and we’ve been ok with a DFA and eat the contract. Yes he pitched good today. I don’t have to like him, or invite him out to lunch. It’s a one year deal. We don’t have many alternatives currently so we have to live with this. But he did pitch well. We finally have pretty good defensive outfield. Sheets and Jimenez, just DH and hit the ball out of the park. I can live with Colas possibly hitting .200/.220 while he learns the pitchers. Solid outfield play can take this team to the next level. Starters seem ok, Vaughn looks good at the plate. Timmy will be Timmy, no worries there. Can and Will Moncada and Grandal be what we’ve seen so far?? Elvus needs to step up offensively. Sevy looks like an ok backup Bullpen will be the deference.

The biggest little word the English Language is IF. IF this is the real Moncada of 2 or 3 years ago offensively and the same goes for Yaz, we could be in for a very good season. The least would be is a Wild Card team. BUT once again, health will real be the answer.

Our starters all look like studs at this point. The bullpen scares me at this point. Even with Hendriks, because we don’t know when he returns how effective he can be because of his treatment, I’m worried. Also, some of Pedro’s lineup’s and batting orders worry me at this point, but I’ll give him a chance. Ozzie wasn’t a genius his 1st few game’s either.

Fix Yasmani’s defense? That’s what I was talking about.

He may be having a turn around year at the plate, but defensively we will suffer.
