This may sound extremely dumb, especially from me who hated his performance, but should KW call up Richard and give him one start, for the simple reason he won't be nervous this time and show his true ability? Just asking. It'd be a one-game experiment obviously. How old is Poreda? The Trib seems to think he's the guy.

I know things always look grim after losses, but no matter what Oz says about "critics" he's pretty critical himself a lot of the time about the way his team has played.

On paper this is a huge pitching mismatch tonight. So maybe we'll win cause we've lost a few of those lately.

Chet was a love him or not kind of guy. I had a friend who simply hated him. And he was my favorite Sox of all time.

Why the Sox wore red uniforms and were actually another version of the Red Sox? Is there a good answer to that? As I recall after Wood came back they bunted him out of baseball. Guys bunted and he couldn't go get the ball anymore. His knuckler was amazing.

That sucks. Rest in peace. We'll all be joining him one day; enjoy every day folks.
