Let's not get carried away here...

Sorry to break it to you, but your lineup isnt that great. My lineup would kill you: PG- Stevie Francis SG- Jason Richardson SF- Peja Stojakovic PF- Tyson Chandler C- Shaquille O'Neal I highly doubt that, especially after 5 seasons. In my game (2007-2008), Davis is a 96, Francis is in the low 90's. James is a 85, Richardson low 80's Anthony is a 83, Peja is low 80's. Chandler does beat out Bosh. And in the biggest slaughtering of all, Shaq is a 78 while Yao is a 91. I'd mop the floor with you.

Save them, then go to upload an attachment on the bottom of the thread. And please, do upload them. Paris Hilton is my fave....

If I were to pick out the female artist, I would say all roads lead back to Janis Joplin. There would be no Fiona Apple without Janis. laugh all you want, but Oasis opened a huge door for european artists back in '94-'95 And remember what the lead singer caused an uproar by saying? Oasis was going to be the next Beatles That may be one of the most ignorant quotes ever to come from the mouth of a human being... :fyou Oasis which part?? cos if you disagree with me, you obviously haven't heard bands like blur, the verve, radiohead, travis, f***ING COLDPLAY.... thanks for one-upping MY ignorant statement 4 life, wasn't referring to your statement. I was referring to the quote from oasis that they would be the next Beatles...

Schedule for a 11/20 release... Mario Kart for N64 had to be one of my favorite games ever, but I'm expecting this to be even better...

Here's my new lineup, now in my 5th dynasty season with a lot of simulating... PG - Baron Davis SG - Lebron James SF - Carmelo Anthony PF - Chris Bosh C- Yao Ming I'll blow you off the court Beastly...

They'll be back in the Final Four this year, you can count on that. Got to the Elite 8 last season and no one even expected them to get out of the second round. Davis is going to have a great year and I think Ager is going to develop into a star. Gotta love the depth at the guard position with Ager, Hill, Torbert and Brown. This team is going to be a lot of fun to watch. Izzo is great for college basketball, which is the main reason I've been a State fan since he took over there.

http://www.suntimes.com/output/sox/cst-spt-sox31.html "There has never been a time where a player or a player's agent has called our office and not gotten a return phone call, if they couldn't get somebody directly -- never,'' Williams said. "And never will that happen in the future. For anybody to insinuate that is misguided and got their facts wrong.'' Valentin is one of eight Sox players who have filed for free agency. He said at the end of last season that he might return to the Sox for less than market value if the team keeps its veteran nucleus. Valentin was quoted this week as saying: "I'm not too happy with [the Sox] right now. They told us some things and now can't even return calls. I don't know what's going on. I don't know if I'm coming back or not.'' Said Williams: "I myself have been misquoted [in the past], and I can only hope he was misquoted or maybe he was misinformed by his representative. Whatever the fact is, that's not the way we operate. We are in contact with our guys.'' Williams said he had lunch this week with free agent Sandy Alomar Jr., who lives in Chicago during the offseason, and also spoke to free agents Roberto Alomar, Tom Gordon and Scott Sullivan by phone. Roberto Alomar officially filed for free agency Thursday. "I know that I'm an easy target because I like to do things quietly,'' Williams said, "but I resent the fact that somebody is going to throw that kind of misrepresentation out there.''

I don't know that he'd increase attendance, but he'd obviously be an exciting player with unlimited potential to watch. If you moved him to CF, that would open 2B for either Robbie, Miles or Harris. Then you give either Reed/Borchard/Rowand a shot in RF and leave Carlos in LF. Hopefully we can dump Jose at SS and pick up a guy like Eckstein. I'm all for the Soriano for Mags trade if we can pull it off. Eckstein blows. Sorry He's better than Valentin, that's for damn sure.
-
honestly, i'd be a little disapointed myself. ozzie's ties to the organization and his attitude make him my choice. not a knock on cito, i think he would be a fine manager, but my sox blinders hope for ozzie. Ozzie's chances at this point appear to be slim and none. Gaston's WS experience and overall experience as a proven manager in baseball give him the nod over all the other candidates. Not sure how much I like him as our manager given the long period in which it's been since he's been a manager, but experience wise, he's the best choice.
-
I guess depending on what kinda money he will command, he'd be worth a look. But if he's wanting Contreras type money or anything near it, forget about it.

Magglio Ordonez: Ordonez didn't produce superstar numbers in 2003 (.317, 29, 99), but the Sox are reluctant to move him. One rumor had the Yankees, who need a right fielder, offering Alfonso Soriano. Said Williams: "I'm one of the biggest Magglio fans, so we're certainly not shopping him at this time. But it's a long off-season." If this is true about the Soriano deal, KW has to pull the trigger on that. I also found it interesting that we may opt to deal Lee rather than Mags... Guess KW thinks he may be able to lock Mags up long-term if he's going this route...

I've got no problem.... :fyou Jose Take your .230 average elsewhere.

I won't be interested in marriage until late 20's at the earliest... What is the rush?

BTW, how old is this girl? Just wondering cause you said two years til you get engaged...

James with 19 pts, 12 boards and 6 assists after 3 quarters tonight.

Yea, they have limited vocabulary. Fratello is more annoying on there. Says the same thing about Carmelo Anthony and Lebron over and over. But they're not too bad overall. I try to tune them out.

This is from yesterday, but I don't recall seeing it on the board, but maybe I overlooked it. http://www.dailysouthtown.com/southtown/ds.../pro/291sd7.htm "I'm not too happy with (the Sox) right now," Valentin said from his home in Puerto Rico on Tuesday. "They told us some things and now can't even return calls. I don't know what's going on. I don't know if I'm coming back or not. They probably want to see what's up with (free-agent pitcher Bartolo) Colon, but I heard they took the offer for him off the table on Monday night and won't make another one. "I know they're trying to get something done with (pitcher Mark) Buehrle and (outfielder) Carlos Lee (both of whom are arbitration eligible). But I'm not going to wait. I'm going to grab an opportunity. I'm not going to wait too long and lose an opportunity with someone that wants me. "I need to know," Valentin said. "They either want me or they don't." "When we were talking, we weren't too far away (from a deal)," he said. "I agreed to take less money, but now I don't know what's going to happen. What if I would take a little less money now, but he doesn't get other players back and I'm stuck with a rebuilding team, on top of signing for less money? "And I'm not just talking about Bartolo. We can still go far without Bartolo. We might be able to get two decent pitchers with the money they were going to give Bartolo, and our offense can score runs."
