  1. Where do you live? I know they make trips to Rochester, Hershey, Philly and Norfolk but other than that it's all in the northeast.
  2. Smith and Rogowski are off to good starts
  3. I'll be in Albany for the Baby Sens opener tomorrow. I cant wait to see Spezza, Vermette, Pothier and all them back again
  4. Go UCONN!!! It'll be tough without Okafor and Gordon plus the situation/loss of AJ Price, but with Villanueva, Boone and Nelson up front and Anderson, Brown and Gay at the 2-3 positions UConn is still gonna be a top contender this year. A lot will depend on how Marcus Williams handles the point and how Rashad Anderson responds to being a go-to guy. I think a Final Four appearance is definitely possible, but they won't be favorites like they were last year
  5. Ok, let me specify then, the arena in Hartford is not the one. It's the one in Storrs (where they play the bulk of their games) which gets pretty raucous
  6. Maryland Duke UNC Stanford UCONN Pitt Kentucky Illinois Arizona OSU ...in no particular order
  7. Lighten up, geezus. This is ridiculous. Are we in elementary school again?
  8. Boston...I'd like nothing more than to see the reaction of so many of my friends who are Yankee fans
  9. Agreed. And how anyone can pick Jeter is beyond me. That guy is one of the most overrated players in the league
  10. Alright cool thanks. The Baby Sens are getting stocked with Jason Spezza, Antoine Vermette, Anton Volchenkov and Dominick Hasek....yes, Dominick Hasek. The first three are still on their original two-way deals and Hasek is gonna be here on "conditioning stints" until the NHL is back. He'll probably only play 1 game a week but its cool nonetheless. The thing with waivers though, is that isnt there kind of a general unsaid rule of "hands off". Like if a young player is sent down teams back off. ALso, isnt it just going through waivers on the way down? Once down you can be called back up without passing through as long as that team has a roster spot open.
  11. Hey Kap, is Hordi still on a two-way deal? I know it was just a couple years ago he was in Springfield so it's possible. San Antonio plays in Syracuse this year in the AHL so if he's playing down I'd proibably go see the game to see him and the other young Panthers (Bouw, Krajicek, Weiss et al)
  12. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/gammons/story?id=1880521 I dunno if this was ever mentioned but its the first time i've seen it. Thank god that trade never went through.
  13. 1. Punks? Take a look at Miami then come back 2. Ugly unis? Hardly. The maroon with gold pants is an awesome uniform
  14. Hele or something? I know who you're talking about. And Susan was an original but she was gone for 3 years or so in the middle of the series
  15. No, i watch it every week too Thats too bad, he's the last remaining major character who has been there for every year since the beginning.
  16. Mine was kinda similar. Back then, when we were young, my brother and I felt a need to "pick" one of the expansion teams in every sport when they came in. Most teams fazed out and we stopped caring, but its for that reason that i like the Marlins and Panthers (NHL).
