If Carl goes to the DL retroactive to a couple days ago we'd need someone for roughly 10-12 games. I'd be fine with just calling up Borchard and playing Timo/Ozuna in Carl's spot with Dye DH'ing and JoBo getting the occasional start. Borchard is not the long term answer at all, but if its for a week I'd rather have him here than start the arbitration clock on Anderson just because we wanted him to play here for a week. Charlotte should be much better next year and hopefully some of these guys can produce up here in Chicago in a couple years or so...the future is looking pretty good.
