QUOTE (Boogua @ Apr 19, 2013 -> 12:47 AM) This is probably one of the best mixtapes I've ever seen and the kid is only 14. Insane. I don't know how to imbed... http://youtu.be/HJO4uw1Nn1o Is his name really Seventh? Ugh. He does have quite the handle that's for sure. Wonder if Kentucky's already offered him a scholarship? -

QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 18, 2013 -> 03:45 PM) I actually kinda like those helmets. It's kind of funny. UConn fans generally dislike the new helmets and it's other people who generally like them. I wonder how Oregon fans feel? -

UCONN is going through a university rebrand and the new jerseys are really nice for all their sports. Well, except the football helmet. This is rough. -

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 18, 2013 -> 01:08 PM) He usually never takes more than one a class. I've heard MSU and Duke are out front. Who else does he have coming in next year? -

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 18, 2013 -> 12:18 PM) I still cant believe he's leaning Duke, as a one and done it seems weird. Irving. Rivers. Parker. -
I've read two threads this morning and apparently we have two mini, potential Johan clones? This is still soxtalk right?

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 17, 2013 -> 03:22 PM) Both Danks and Wise have plenty of pop. They're not exactly Juan Pierre and Luis Castillo They're 10-15 HR guys if they played a full season. I would hardly say players like that had no power.
-
QUOTE (Iwritecode @ Apr 17, 2013 -> 03:05 PM) I think it's a badly-worded joke. He's asking which team holds the record for having the most number of speedy, left-handed outfielders with no power . The Sox have 2, Danks and Wise. Right. Except they don't.

QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Apr 17, 2013 -> 12:44 PM) Lame. I like Catch-all

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Apr 17, 2013 -> 01:37 PM) What is the record for speedy, left-handed outfielders with no power on the same roster anyway? Not sure who this is supposed to be in reference to

Salvador Sanchez. See if he can be the Sergio Santos

QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 16, 2013 -> 12:20 PM) Carlos Sanchez with a single. Depending on how things go the next couple weeks, I wouldn't mind if he played 2B for the Sox everyday until Beckham comes off the DL. So you're all for rushing Sanchez up a level but you don't forget to let everyone know every day how awful it is for them to be rushing Hawkins up a level. Gotcha.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 16, 2013 -> 10:17 AM) I don't know how you can conclude anything on Dunn. I'm sure he's had stretches like this just about every year of his career. He's probably a .200 hitter with close to 40 homers and 200 k's. Not worth what they are paying him, but useful in today's game. Me either. I'm hearing Davidson to the A-10? Good for them if true -
QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 15, 2013 -> 02:41 PM) KC had the pick before Russell Wilson was drafted. I can't get mad about that because 32 NFL teams passed on him at least twice

My buddy was down the street at a bar. It's obviously pretty crazy down there now. Lots of places being locked down and sweeps of buildings.

QUOTE (Jake @ Apr 15, 2013 -> 10:52 AM) I'm not going to get caught up in sample sizes. He's hitting like .180 during his time in Chicago. The time to claim "sample sizes" with him is over.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 15, 2013 -> 09:36 AM) He's our punishment for mocking the Cubs for the Soriano debacle all these years. I can't stomach another '11. It's still damn early. But a month from now and he's still sucking ass? Yes. Something must be done. I know it's early, and I wouldn't feel this way if '11 didn't happen. But it did. And I can't deal with watching another version of '11 Dunn. Just makes watching the games so un-enjoyable

QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 15, 2013 -> 08:44 AM) Where was this Super Bow Sunday? That's great
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 15, 2013 -> 09:23 AM) Dunn is now doing exactly what people asked him to do. He's swinging earlier in the count, trying to make more contact, and taking fewer walks. And I was one of them. I'm just sick of the results of his plate appearances. Negatives are far outweighing the positives.

Because this should be separate from the NFL thread since the draft usually drives so much conversation and because I'm a Chiefs fan and we have the first pick. Keep hearing that KC is trying to trade out of the first spot. Whether or not they will be able to probably depends on whether or not teams want Dion Jordan or Geno Smith. Supposedly Jordan is #1 on KC's board right now and Jacksonville is believed to be ready to take him if KC doesn't or Smith if they do. A team trading up to #1 could certainly shake up the draft a bit

After watching Dunn play this weekend, I'm now totally on board with just letting him go. I can't see how we'd be any worse of a baseball team.
