  1. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 13, 2013 -> 11:24 AM) ????????????????? http://screenrant.com/24-season-9-fox/
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 13, 2013 -> 09:42 AM) Kansas could be forfeiting a bunch of games http://collegebasketballtalk.nbcsports.com...ores-aau-coach/ Nah. Just do what Duke did with the Lance Thomas case a couple weeks ago and refuse to talk. NCAA will then throw their hands up and claim they can't do anything when the former athlete refuses to talk.
  3. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ May 13, 2013 -> 08:18 AM) If I made a list of major US cities and ranked them in order of how willing I would be to live there, NO might very well come in last. I think I'd pick Anchorage over NO. I'd probably put NO second, behind Detroit
  4. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 13, 2013 -> 02:59 AM) He was a top Sox prospect (Top 10 list) half a decade ago. And yet he's still only 22 years old. He's had a nice start to the year but he's only played part time and has less than 50 ABs.
  5. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 10, 2013 -> 02:17 PM) Ugh, who chose Hangover III? The first was so overrated (ok, not great) and the second was atrocious. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 10, 2013 -> 02:25 PM) I did. They both made me laugh a lot and entertained me for two hours. Sometimes that's all that matters with a movie, it doesn't have to be a "good" movie. And I've never seen a single Star Trek episode, don't care about Gatsby, and had no idea there were any more Fast & Furious after Tokyo Drift. I did too. Never had any interest in the Star Trek franchise, the Fast and the Furious franchise should have ended after the first film and wasn't a fan of the Great Gatsby novel so...
  6. DeMichele, Johnson and Semien should have zero impact on current decisions made with Ramirez and Beckham
  7. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 9, 2013 -> 04:25 PM) BTW in case nobody was aware what was going on when Theon was getting tortured his finger was being flayed. Really, really vaguely spoiler-y. Just did it in case.
  8. QUOTE (onedude @ May 9, 2013 -> 04:18 PM) Book version is the 12 year old right? Well in the show I'm pretty sure he is supposed to be in his mid teens? The actor is 20 years old after all. If you map where we're currently at in the show back to the books, I'm pretty sure he's supposed to be 14 now
  9. Alex Ferguson is retiring effective at the end of this season. David Moyes will succeed him. Will be real interesting to see how Manchester United is affected by this.
  10. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ May 7, 2013 -> 10:10 AM) Ice Hockey for the NES is without question the best sports video game of all-time. Yeah I had forgotten about that game but that was a blast back when I was younger.
  11. Tecmo NHL '94 MVP '05 Ken Griffey Jr Baseball FIFA Road to the World Cup '98
  12. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ May 6, 2013 -> 05:52 PM) that new ballpark looks really nice It is. Blows new Yankee Stadium out of the water in terms of fan experience. I wanted to get down for the series but too busy at work to take off. Sucks this series couldn't have fallen on a weekend
  13. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 7, 2013 -> 01:23 AM) If anything, you'd hope a high school player would at some point be able to move more than one level per year. Otherwise, it will take 5-6 years for him to reach the majors, which isn't very ideal. Nothing wrong with reaching the major leagues at 23-24
  14. Honestly, all these mental blunders we've had this year have to go back on the coaching staff. This is pathetic.
  15. We tied it, which is great, but that inning was so 2013 White Sox baseball. Ugly.
  16. Come one Lexi, we could use some of your rookie year bases loaded magic right here!
  17. Well, Dunn came through but Konerko had an awful at bat. That was basically worst case scenario.
  18. Pinch hit for Dunn please! (I know it won't happen and hopefully he proves me wrong)
  19. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ May 6, 2013 -> 04:25 PM) Sale was the best option considering they have no left handed relief in the bullpen other than Thornton. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 6, 2013 -> 04:27 PM) They're also probably trying to save pen for tomorrow when Santiago throws, especially since the whole pen except Heath was used yesterday. I get that. But with someone like Sale, who is in the first year of a new contract and who most people worry about durability down the road, I'm hesitant running his pitch count up early in a season where it appears our team is quite unlikely to challenge for the playoffs
  20. Chris Sale should not still be in this game. I don't really like seeing him over 120 pitches on May 6th.
  21. Montreal made themselves look like fools last night. Cheap shots, whining, Josh Gorges shooting a puck at an Ottawa player, Prust faking out running Anderson at the buzzer, just classless all game. And PK Subban is the biggest p**** in the NHL. Acts like the biggest tough guy in the world when the linesmen are around and when they're not he goes and suckers players like Kyle Turris into a fight and then proceeds to keep throwing punches well after they're on the ground with the linesman between them.
  22. I know it appears that Thompson has been off to a poor start this season, and he has if you look at his HR/AVG/OPS numbers, but quietly he has gotten his K% down to 20%. I haven't seen him at all so I don't know how he's looked or how his at bats have gone, but his improved contact rate early on has to be taken as a positive development. Hopefully he can sustain that.
  23. The NHL is ridiculous. Somehow Eric Gryba got a 2 game suspension for his perfectly legal hit last night.
  24. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ May 3, 2013 -> 07:38 AM) How do you leave out last year's winner: I'll Have Another Agreed.
  25. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 2, 2013 -> 07:05 PM) OK, who pissed off Jobu? I blame the removal of the Catch-All
