I know myself too well to get one. I know that yes, in 20 years, I would look at my tat and say "what the hell was I thinking?". So I always chose to not get one. Even if I am still a HUGE lover of whatever the tat would be, I would still live to regret it.

She looks like Angelica Houston in that picture.

What the heck is a "Diablo Cody"???

QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Feb 27, 2008 -> 09:44 PM) He's damned good. And what makes him even more likeable for me is that when he is not singing he seems like nothing more than a goofy kid, but a genuine one. It makes his ability stand out that much more. But I do think that may wear on people as the competition goes on, not that he can do anything about it. He is real, but I think some people will find the goofy smile and always saying thank you as less refreshing and more irritating. As far as the women tonight, I'd like to see Amanda, the Janis Joplin wannabe and Kady Malloy from Houston get the boot. AND, I'd like to see one Thursday night where no one cries. Fat chance, huh? I was sick of the kid the first night I saw him. Just annoying.

I know it's spring training and it doesn't matter and you can't expect anything at all from it...but really...when the other team puts up 2 in the first inning, I would like to have a little something happen in the Sox at bat. Other than Thome getting hit I mean. Ya know? I'm just saying.

QUOTE(Jenks Heat @ Feb 27, 2008 -> 01:32 PM) Screw the water table. Wanna torture people.....make them listen non-stop to that dolt. 29 minutes to Farmio the smile on face face continues to grow. Ah, IMO though it is almost a cruel joke to go from the moronic b.s. of Murphy into the pointless meandering and ugliness known as Farmington. I can tolerate it only because of what Farmington is reporting. Used to like him, then Rooney left and I realized how much bullsh*t was really on the Farm.

QUOTE(shipps @ Feb 27, 2008 -> 01:28 PM) Gleason, dont you find his sound effects adorable? Lord, they usually make even less sense than the stupid crap North has going on. Between him and North I have no idea how the Score ever survived. I guess Boers and Berstein are that good that a station can keep afloat with just them.

So...2CMT is 1 Chicago time...right? I only ask because that friggin' idiot Murphy is still rambling on about something. How the hell did that idiot ever get a job? Ah, nevermind, I read the title poorly. I see 2 CENTRAL time. I still have an hour. Good, I'll shut the idiot off. Is there pre-game?

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Feb 25, 2008 -> 12:57 PM) Yeah, he's got some good stories about 1950s Florida in general. He also worked on at least one of the sequels at Silver Springs don't remember which one. He's a retired marine engineer and I had no idea he'd done this until last year when I met him out for a couple of beers and he started reminiscing about the good old days. Ricou was born in the town I work in (Fort Pierce), but I think he met my friend John when they were both doing "mermaid training" at Weeki Wachee. I think he knew Ginger Stanley from her Weeki Wachee mermaid days as well. Hey, is there any more movement on the on again-off again reemake? It's sitting idle right now and will probably be decided by what happens with The Wolf Man. Benicio Del Toro and Rick Baker during talks about the make-up for the Wolf Man remake. Del Toro obviously doesn't need Rick.

No, you never did tell me that. Does he have any good stories about it? Man, I would have LOVED to have seen that costume in real life.

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Feb 24, 2008 -> 10:07 PM) I thought it was kind of weird that they had a cutoff date for the In Memorandum thing. I just kind of feel that Roy Scheider should've been mentioned, as he only died like a week and a half ago, but now they won't say anything about his death until well over a year later. They've always had a cut-off date, this is first year they actually posted it for everybody to see. I have a feeling that was in reaction to how many people have complained that "so and so" was missed. This way they are just explaining to everybody why their fave dead person got left out. Next year the two I am looking for: Ben Chapman - Played the land Creature in Creature From The Black Lagoon Maila Nurmi - Vampira I liked Transformers, but I was never a fan of the cartoon.

Funny thing is that even the BIG Idol winners are not that big. They have the massive publicity machine going for them, but as for actual sales? Nah, not that impressive. Kelly Clarkson seems HUGE, but her sales are not mind-blowing. Not as much as you would expect. If I remember right, her total sales are something like 9 million. That's nothing to sneeze at, but considering the massive publicity and everything, and considering that is ALL of her releases combined, then I am not so impressed.

You were enamoured with her boobs. She sucked. I agree about the crying. I actually missed last night, but did record it. But I chose the least painful way to go and looked up the results online. I read though that Seacrest more or less suckerpunched that Garrett kid with the way he booted him. Was it that bad?

I think they have finally realized that they can't hide their past. VFTW has become almost as big as the show it tears apart.

The Women: Wow...they sucked.

Thank the Lord people here agree with me on the Doors cover!!! People are loving that dang thing. I am not a Doors fan at all, but that was pathetic. Morrison has obviously been dead a LONG time if people think that was a good version of something he did. If people think that twit Michael Johns is a natural "Rock Star", then I understand why it has been so long since anybody actually deserved to be called a "Rock Star". This world has simply forgotten. I love it when they attack the contestants for poor song choices. Do you think Simon and gang know that they only have 50 songs to pick from??? We heard 12 of those songs last night, and I can tell you there is no way in hell I would have chosen ANY of those songs. If I was going to do one of them, I would have rearranged the heck out of it. "Moon River"??? Yeah, I'd do it, but it would also be a blast of Hardcore circa 1982. Who the hell gives people "Moon River" as song choice and then beats them up for it. Talk about a set-up. I guess I like being pissed off, it's the only thing that can explain my continually going back and watching that complete crapfest of a show. Heck, I guess maybe I enjoy it for the "stupid TV" factor. It sure doesn't know crap about quality music. AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!

My Dad saw Bill Haley And His Comets at his high school. That, to me, beats almost anybodies "I saw so and so" stories.

QUOTE(Leonard Zelig @ Feb 19, 2008 -> 04:40 PM) My band opened for Chuck Berry. That's really cool. But, I bet you knew that.

I once had Beefcake from GWAR try to kill me after he tripped over my foot and fell down a flight of stairs. I didn't really trip him, it was all an act on his part, but Oderus did have to step in and save my life...though he regretted doing so and told me he did. Later that same day Gwar Woman (later to become Slymenstra) ran to me for protection from all the guys trying to hit on her. She had me act like her boyfriend so they would quit following her around. She then went backstage and changed and I never saw her again.

I told Axl Rose he had a cool shirt, and he paid me back the compliment by telling me he also liked mine. I shook his hand also. He was standing next to me at a Junkyard show.

QUOTE(BigEdWalsh @ Feb 19, 2008 -> 10:01 AM) Pizza Hut pizza is for the most part pretty bad. I worked at a Pizza Hut once many years ago and I refused to make pizzas the way they made them. I made them my way and got good comment cards. But I wouldn't bend to doing it their way and quit. Also Little Ceasers Hot and Ready are absolutely disgusting, nonetheless I eat them all the time because my youngest daughter loves them. I worked at a Caesars for a couple of years. I actually found the best way to enjoy a pizza from there is to let it sit for about a 1/2 hour before eating. For some reason their sauce actually gets better as it cools down. More of the flavor comes out in it then.

QUOTE(SoxAce @ Feb 18, 2008 -> 11:48 PM) Preach bro. Dominos and Pizza Hut as well. I LOVE Pizza Hut's stuffed crust. (cheese) EDIT: Can't hate on Waldo Cooney's either right Slav? There was a time when the Pizza Hut Pan Pizza was the greatest pizza in the world. When that buttery crust was just crispy enough, with just the right amount of burnt cheese and crust, their pepperoni was just crispy enough...that stuff was incredible when I was a kid. Sometimes you need to wallow in nostalgia.
