QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 12, 2008 -> 02:37 PM) Are they lowering the expectations to get into Playboy or is it any girl that will sleep with Hef? Looks like the airbrush died about 2/3 of the way through the picture.

QUOTE (The Critic @ Oct 11, 2008 -> 11:25 AM) I can honestly say that I am with the perfect person for me. She balances my personality, she is strong in my weaker areas, and she is a terrific mother. She enjoys my sense of humor and doesn't mind our differences in taste as far as entertainment is concerned. She's a wonderful person, and I'm extremely lucky to have her in my life. Yup, pretty much the exact same situation. Without my wife I would be like Ken Clean-Air System.

I got ahold of the new AC/DC today. I like them. I like them a lot. I never expect too much out of them. I like them for what they are. But man...this is boring. Believe it or not, there is even a bit of a modern Country feel to certain aspects of it. I'm not saying you will mistake it for Country, but there is a touch in there for sure.

I'm bummed that I don't get to pull for my team any moree this year, but it ended on a pretty good note! It's nice to have a team surprise you instead of crush you. I think I am looking forward to this offseason and next year more than I have looked forward to anything of the such in a long time!

ugh...I just walked in on one.

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Oct 6, 2008 -> 08:38 AM) I have no idea who he is trying to impersonate in about half of the commercials. Thank the lord I am not the only one!!! I figure he has the same fans as Jim Belushi.
-
Watch his face as he walks off the field, you can tell he is loving the crowd and the situation.

I have a guy here at work who can hit a target (another person usually) from about 60' away. He just pulls back and lets it go and almost ALWAYS hits what he shoots at. It's pretty amazing.

QUOTE (Texsox @ Oct 3, 2008 -> 07:50 AM) Javy wished he played for the Royals. Maybe on MLB Power Pros. I don't think Javy wants anything to do with baseball at all anymore. I almost think he's throwing his games just so he can end it all and go retire.

"Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Chicago Cubs NLDS"
Kid Gleason replied to Brian's topic in The Diamond Club
Holy crap!!! But...the Cubs are the best team in the NL!?! I feel bad for my boss. He's a HUGE Cubs fan, always has been. Season ticket holder. He sold his first round play-off tickets but held on to his second and World Series tickets. Not looking good for those tickets to get use. -

QUOTE (G&T @ Oct 2, 2008 -> 06:55 PM) Absolutely. I thought it was unfair to compare that game with the Sox v. Twins game where there were a lot of real fans at the park. In 2005, I was at ALCS game 2 and that crowd was dead until AJ "stole first." I was at that game also, and if you remember though it was REAL hard to be into that game. The team looked lifeless until AJ did that. The place was fairly rocking at first, but as the innings progressed it just seemed like the game was going to go nowhere for the Sox. When do these twits start playing tonight? -
Ya know, my Grandma isn't busy right now (she's dead), can we have her pitch instead of this piece of crap?
-
Now, the only problem with this is we still have Javy on the mound and we have yet to get to the 5th inning when Javy will give up 8 runs.
-
Huh...I guess he can go for the home run if he wants...

QUOTE (lostfan @ Oct 1, 2008 -> 08:58 AM) 1 - Yes, well, you have to buy the browser. 5 dollars IIRC Is this new? If I remember right, I never paid for my use.

I think somebody needs to clarify who Roy is. I mean, are we talking Roy Rogers, Roy Orbison, Roy Clark, Roy from Siegfried And Roy, Roy Munson? I mean, there are a lot of "Roy"'s out there for crying out loud.
-
I read your post wrong at first. I thought you were buying him a plaGue. I thought "gee, he must have sucked".

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Sep 30, 2008 -> 10:14 AM) You need to listen to I Predict a Riot then. You'll either love it or hate it. I checked out the tune for that song, and I liked it a whole bunch. Turns out one of my buddies here at work is a big Kaiser Chiefs fan, and a fan of the spin off band The Kaisers.

QUOTE (farmteam @ Sep 29, 2008 -> 10:18 AM) I believe you are referring to Ruby by The Kaiser Chiefs. http://www.songmeanings.net/lyric.php?lid=...822107858642840 BINGO!!! Thanks! It's a pretty darn cool song! I like that one. I'll have to check out their other stuff.
-
Does anybody know who does the song on "Mike And Mike In The Morning" that has the line (the only line they play) "Ruby, Ruby, Ruby"? Not so easy to Google the dang thing when all you have to go on is "Ruby" and "Mike".

QUOTE (The Critic @ Sep 25, 2008 -> 03:47 PM) Maybe they don't like having their cocks out. Nice going! I'm sitting here at my computer at work laughing like an idiot now! That was brilliant!

QUOTE (scenario @ Sep 29, 2008 -> 08:43 AM) How's the weather in the city? I'm in Rockford and it has been raining all morning. They are calling for rain at game time but it is supposed to clear up a little after that. They will get the game in I would expect, even if that means sitting around until 7PM and turning this into a night game. -
Yeah, you have to live by the stove pretty much. I use a chicken stock and white wine. At the end I throw in some mushrooms (best being baby bellas) and onions that I had cooked a little earlier. I end with a handful of asiago cheese being thrown in. I love to cook. I REALLY love to cook. It's how I unwind after work. My wife loves the fact I enjoy it so much, and that I try really hard to be good and usually succeed.
