That sucks, would have been a really heartening one to get. Gotta make contact in extras. No real issues with the levers Veneble pulled, most of them worked, and the ones that didn't weren't really in his control. The guys fought hard, just ran out of bodies. Also...it's a win in regulation if not for that ball 4 call to Seager. I'm still annoyed on behalf of Taylor's ERA.

Love the fight, but the bench is empty, there's 1 guy in the pen, and they have no DH for extras. Needed to make one of those plays earlier (or have Taylor not get squeezed, but I digress).

Taylor doesn't hit that often, but I feel like half of those hits have been timely doubles.

Rule 5 restrictions carry over through waivers, trades, etc. Basically they apply to all 29 teams other than the original until fulfilled. That's why he was on waivers to begin with; Tampa was restricted from sending him down even though PHI was the team to actually draft him.
