Don't think they will (or should) move prospects for short term help. Their biggest adds this summer are probably still internal promotions. But I could see something like swapping some IF depth for someone else's blocked young pitching with team control.

People complain about the lineup literally every time we face a LHP and the team continues to be among the best vs. LHP.

Decent effort to put 4 up on Ryan, just asked too much of a tiring rookie in his second start. Lack of off days maybe catching up a bit, but the team has done well to not let losses linger. They hit Prielipp well last time, get after him again tomorrow.

They have repeatedly said they view him as a starter

I get that you don't want to start a series needing 5 guys out of the pen, but Sandlin was gassed. If he starts that inning, you need someone ready sooner.

I do think it's fun when teams get baited into deploying lefty relievers against our lineup. See: Hinch last night League-beast .795 OPS vs. lefty relievers. Big part of their ability to come back late in some of these games. They are still top 10 against both LH/RH starters, but RHRP is by far their weakest split.

Well he is one of two guys with a previous HR vs. Ryan (Vargas is the other). 9-22 with 1 HR, 2 2B, 1 3B, 1 BB, and (most impressively?) 0 K. Comes out to a 1.162 career OPS. 22 ABs is also the biggest sample size by far, most of these guys saw Ryan for the first time last week. Hopefully he can at least share some tips to the other lefties.
