Let’s get the sweep and head to the all-star break! Need a solid outing from Schultz. Maybe the A’s offense is just what he needs to get going.

Love the correct date being on the game thread

Offensively, a middle ground between the first 2 games should get it done today.

Nice detail

Sweep today and head into the break on a high note, we need Schultz to have a good outing not only for today but to help his confidence for the home stretch.

Very good lineup today!

All hands on deck with bullpen today besides Taylor and Newcomb

Anybody else rather it was Sandlin starting today instead of Schultz?

I get it that Schultz has a higher ceiling, but he’s pitched, at least, two clunkers in a row, not giving the Sox much of a chance to win.

I just looked: in Schultz’s last six starts, it’s five losses and a no decision.

With Sandlin, last four starts: it’s two wins, a loss, and a no decision.

To get this last win before the break, I would have strongly preferred to be starting Sandlin today.

But, I guess, bottom line: Go Schultz! Get us the win.

I think you got to commit to developing Schultz in the majors.

That's a lineup for a sweep. Let's go!

Even if it is risking games in a tight divisional race?

Not saying you're wrong but how do you balance the two?

In my opinion in large part because of the time missed with the knee injury the past two years he needs to be sent back down. He's not ready yet.

Have a feeling this is a game where they are going to have to outscore the A's given the pitching match up.

Hoping Schultz feels the energy and shoves today.

Ive gotten into the FIFA WC and gotta say the sport is on a whole different plane of questionable officiating......although this is the first time Ive ever watched beyond the US and the US stinks

They finally put Chase 9th against a RHP

Hey Lip, Zion Rose went to your high school for three years before flipping to IMG. Whispers that move cost him 3 years ago. Glad he bounced back. He and Massey together would be a cool thing.

I don’t think Schultz would benefit much from more AAA seasoning. He needs to be exposed to major league pitching and adjust. This is the final stage of his development and forgoing it would be very short-sighted IMO.

Hicks has been dominant lately. I'm curious to see if he keeps that up.

Well, this should be a lineup Noah can handle.

Sir walk a lot on the mound

dude that changeup is laughable.

0-2 pitch seemed over the heart of the plate.
