Your Chicago White Sox are the 4th team in the AL to 30 wins! It's May! At 30-27, they are 3 over .500 for the first time since September 2022. 30 wins before June for the first time since 2021. They are currently playing ahead of their 2022 pace (27-30 after game 57, 81-81 for the season). Still 3 GB of the Guardians who never seem to lose when we win, but 3.5 ahead of MIN and 1.5 up on WC2. They are a delightful 18-11 at home, and 9-3 in the division. They have a positive run differential at +1...and a positive FUN differential to boot. Thought this was likely the toughest pitching matchup coming in, so good to come away with the W. Let's win a series (and get positive news on Mune)!

White Sox SP this series: 25 IP, 5 ER, 22 K, 5 BB. Combined 1.80 ERA and .640 WHIP while all going 6+. Exactly what the team and bullpen needed in this stretch. Davis Martin is tied for the MLB lead with 8 wins as a starter. The bullpen was also solid in regulation. Outside of the extra inning game, Twins scored just 7 runs for the series. The offense did their part too, going 40-138 with a .796 series OPS. Could have been a sweep with better breaks down the stretch of game 2.
