  1. 3 IP for Mason Adams in his 2nd rehab start with WS. 2 ER on 3 H and 1 BB. His control looks a bit better than I expected this early.
  2. .341! Ridiculous talent.
  3. Sox improve to 29-27 on the season, 17-11 at home, and 8-3 in division. 3 GB of Cleveland who host Boston next. 2 game lead for WC2. 4th best record in the AL, 5th best run diff at breakeven. White Sox SP this series: 25 IP, 5 ER, 22 K, 5 BB. Combined 1.80 ERA and .640 WHIP while all going 6+. Exactly what the team and bullpen needed in this stretch. Davis Martin is tied for the MLB lead with 8 wins as a starter. The bullpen was also solid in regulation. Outside of the extra inning game, Twins scored just 7 runs for the series. The offense did their part too, going 40-138 with a .796 series OPS. Could have been a sweep with better breaks down the stretch of game 2.
  4. Twins broadcast on Mune's HR last night: "It's not normal to be able to do that to the opposite field!"
  5. Dodgers, Padres, Mets, Yankees, Red Sox, Phillies, Braves, Blue Jays would be over this cap
  6. I'm talking specifically getting a called strikeOUT from challenging a pitch, not just a strike. Jeffers has the most with 1, 9 is T-6.
  7. 9th time EQ has flipped a ball call into a K this season
  8. Kenley Jansen also left with a trainer last night
  9. I skipped a word in my excitement apparently. Hit 99, averaged 97.7.
  10. Guards have scored 3 runs or fewer for 8 games straight. They are 5-3 in that time. Such an annoying team.
  11. I remember when we were the team having to do this lol
  12. Not quite, but excellent nonetheless. One imagines he could have gone a bit deeper, but happy for him to leave on a high note.
  13. FYI Bradley has had a good season, although the Sox did slap him around last year. They tagged him for 4 in 1.2 IP as a Ray, prompting his demotion to AAA the following day. Then he was traded and his Twins debut a month later was also against the Sox who put up 7 ER over 5 IP in round 2.
  14. Sox have been at or over .500 since reaching 21-21 on May 13. It's the longest stretch at or above .500 since September 2022. Win #28 last season was the last game in June. The Sox were 28-56. Sandlin had an excellent debut, retiring 18 straight after a leadoff HR to Buxton. He topped out at 99mph and averaged 97.7. 7 Sox turned in multi-hit efforts. Mune got HR #20 and his first SB. Fun one! And some much needed rest for the top of the pen.
  15. Let Acuna swing for a slam and then let's wrap it up
  16. Reminder that you can't ABS challenge vs. position players
  17. Mune's gotta be the favorite if he breaks the rookie HR record
