  1. Vaughn and Eloy both have that issue. They crush balls, but can't lift. Eloy's power is such that sometimes the ball goes out anyway. Both guys hit too many ground balls/low liners.
  2. If Benintendi hits 15-18 HR next year does his contract still suck?
  3. I live about half way between Chicago and Rockford. I'm a hockey fan and I'd rather go see the Ice Hogs than the Wolves. I wish I could afford Hawks games. Anyway, from my perspective AH is way better than Chicago. It's like 30 minutes away from where I live rather than GRF which is an hour and a half on the way in, and an hour back. I swore off going to Bears games after the last one I ever went to was zero degrees at a noon kickoff. It has been nearly 20 years. They build a dome, I go again. I also don't go to Sox games when it's over 85 degrees. I'd rather go to a game in Early April than when it's 90+ degrees.
  4. Did Honeywell stay with the org after being DFA?
  5. They wouldn't have had that issue if the Giants didn't block them from moving to San Jose. That was their best shot of staying in the Bay Area. It's kinda the equivalent of the Cubs blocking the Sox from moving to Arlington Heights.
  6. I don't disagree that GRF is the easiest stadium to get to in the city, but to say it's still not a royal pain in the ass is disingenuous.
  7. The Bay Area is huge when you include San Francisco and San Jose. I'm sure not everyone in the Bay Area who is an A's fan lives in Oakland. San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland combined aren't that far off from Chicago.
  8. Ok then. Maybe you and i have a different definition of what bad traffic is then.
  9. Have you ever been there when the stadium is full? It's a mess just as bad as the rest of them. I agree, it's just the nature of large scale events. The traffic around GRF is one thing when there's 15k fans at the game, it's a completely different story when there's a sellout.
  10. Moncada with an 8 game hitting streak. Maybe it was injuries.
  11. State, Wentworth, 35th and 31st St are a mess on Sox gamedays
  12. Arlington Park isn't that bad, also there are two Metra stations on the campus. Downtown AH is a pain, no doubt.
  13. A lot of Sox fans live in the SW burbs and AH is actually fairly accessible from a driving perspective. You just hop on 355/53 and you're right there.
  14. The point of re-doing Soldier Field for the Sox is to have a stadium on the lakefront. But if they do that, retractable roof is out and April games will be brutally cold. I know everyone complains about the logistics for Soldier Field, but unless you're taking public transit it's not much worse than GRF. Don't they also have trolleys from the Roosevelt L stop?
  15. Jerry isn't spending like Steve Cohen so idk what you expect.
  16. Buffalo's backup is also named Allen. Josh Allen played one drive
  17. Bob Barker, 99
  18. Are you on drugs? The Sox can't beat the goddamn A's. They are nowhere close to winning. It's 100% a rational take from a fan to have wanted to trade Cease.
  19. Do you believe Northbrook Bob or Nightengale? @fathom
  20. Bob has been in front of so many things White Sox there's no reason to believe it won't be Getz and Moore. When it is official, my interest will go way down for the foreseeable future
  21. Jerry is doing his best to channel his inner Bill Wirtz
  22. I think the Royals don't view Salvy as a bad contract. The Sox were literally going to give up value for him weeks ago.
