At what point do we start to believe?
I know batting average doesn't mean much these days, but holy s%*# this lineup doesn't get a lot of hits. But when they do, they make it count.

4/22 game thread, Sox at AZ 8:40 pm first pitch
I just turned on the game when their Vargas homered, and then Murakami hit that absolute bomb.

4/14 Sox vs. Rays 6:40PM
There are other teams that are 6-11. This game isn't over, but for all intents and purposes it is.

4/14 Sox vs. Rays 6:40PM
How is this not the worst team in baseball? Yeesh.

4/14 Sox vs. Rays 6:40PM
If I were anyone who was expected to go top 10 I'd refuse to sign with the Sox. If I were a HSer, I'd go to college and if I was a college player I'd go back for another season.

4/8 Sox vs. Orioles 1:10PM
Nice hanger, Burke. Lucky that didn't end up in the stands.

4/8 Sox vs. Orioles 1:10PM
They're totally going to rush Schultz and Hagen Smith. Its the Sox MO

4/8 Sox vs. Orioles 1:10PM
The more things change, the more they stay the same. Bases loaded 1 out, GIDP. This has been a problem with the Sox hitters as long as I have been following closely (about 25 years)

Nice stroke by McGuire

Our first instance this year.

Sox at Brewers 3/29, 1:10 CT
Taylor hasn't even proven that he can get MLB hitters out yet. His stuff kinda plays down. I kinda want him to do well as a setup man before trusting him to close.

Sox @ Brewers 3/28 6:10PM
Thank the baseball gods that someone said rake. If I have to hear "mash" one more time i'm gonna throw up in my mouth.

Official 2026 win prediction thread.
I was kinda hoping that they'd get to like 95 losses which wouldn't sting so much. Last season at the end of ST I thought that they'd be even worse than 2024. I think its possible again to be historically bad.

Official 2026 win prediction thread.
I really don't want yet another 100 loss season where the Sox can't pick higher than 10th.

2025 Old Sock Drawer
Anyone going to start the new one?

3/26 Opening Day: Sox@Brewers, Smith vs Misiorowski, 1:05 CHSN
To be fair, Acuna had great batted ball data this spring. I think that's the kind of stuff that carries over.

3/26 Opening Day: Sox@Brewers, Smith vs Misiorowski, 1:05 CHSN
I am still shocked they kept him without seeing much of him this spring.

3/26 Opening Day: Sox@Brewers, Smith vs Misiorowski, 1:05 CHSN
If we're not going to abandon ship, just gotta wait it out until there is an ownership change. It's coming.

3/26 Opening Day: Sox@Brewers, Smith vs Misiorowski, 1:05 CHSN
I think that Shane Smith had a huge jump in fastball velo last spring(2025). Given that the Rule V draft is during the winter meetings, there is probably not a lot of way for the Brewers to have known that when they left him unprotected.

Lmao

3/26 Opening Day: Sox@Brewers, Smith vs Misiorowski, 1:05 CHSN
Shane Smith was the one guy I had hope for, but if he's lost his command that he started 2025 with then yeesh.

3/26 Opening Day: Sox@Brewers, Smith vs Misiorowski, 1:05 CHSN
Yeah I forgot how much I enjoy the game. I have been working evenings since the beginning of 2025 so I don't catch games like I used to. Also CHSN/xfinity BS last year played a role as well.

Should have never left the AL
