  1. Will be a football score soon.
  2. They just fired their manager.
  3. Hope so. I still don’t understand it. Money is money. Why give a 34 year old outfielder $2 million but try to save $500K on young prospects?
  4. It’s hilarious how the Sox will waste millions each offseason on bum veterans nearing retirement but choose to save a measly $500K instead of trying to acquire more young talent.
  5. And now we are hoping he can be traded for a single top 100 prospect.
  6. Exactly. Where’s our PCA?
  7. Seems like it. The funniest part of this entire segment is that if you didn’t know anything about the White Sox, you would have thought the entire rebuild story results in a World Series. Instead, they hype up a rebuild that goes nowhere. 🤣
  8. You didn’t quote the right part, but it’s in there. So we could have several teenage prospects but instead Getz chose to spend $500K on a 30 year old reliever that can’t throw strikes? Makes sense…
  9. This guy is old and he sucks. WTF is up with Getz acquiring these bums?
  10. Getz is amazingly terrible at building a bullpen.
  11. Jerry is not pleased… “White Sox acquired RHP Miguel Castro from the Astros for cash considerations. The 30-year-old right-hander had an opt-out clause coming up in his minor league deal, so the Astros decided to flip him someplace where he’ll get an opportunity. He’s expected to join the White Sox’ bullpen on Friday.”
  12. Getz absolutely loves acquiring old relievers. Yawn… 30 years old, great stuff, but can’t hit the broad side of a barn with it… Sounds familiar.
  13. The dude is turning 29 in two months. I doubt he’s figuring anything out at this stage in his career.
  14. Getz loves shitty utility guys, much like himself as a player.
  15. Hahn did acquire two of the current starting position players in Quero and Sosa.
  16. I know one guy who isn’t going to approve either option, hypothetical or not.
  17. Why would he choose to do a one year rebound with the Sox though, over a team in competition? He’s gotta be looking for a change of scenery at this point.
  18. I called it a filthy slut. It must like dirty talk more.
  19. Probably makes sense with C. Montgomery’s future up in the air.
  20. Google AI agrees with you…
  21. I’m confused. I thought the options are to either give Robert his $20 million team option for 2026 or buy him out for $2 million? Once they buy him out, he becomes a free agent. You are saying they can still offer him a qualifying offer after that? Even if that’s possible, I don’t see Jerry taking the risk (see Carlos Rodon).
  22. I don’t think Jerry would pay him $40 million over 2026 and 2027 even if he turned it around this season.
