CWS Acquire Reliever Cam Booser from BOS
Dude wasn’t good at 25 either… ”Booser, a 25-year-old on the Rookie-level Elizabethton Twins, had pitched 2 2/3 innings this season for Class A Advanced Fort Myers, allowing one run while walking seven and hitting two batters over three relief appearances. He went 0-4 with an 8.53 ERA, 34 strikeouts and 31 walks over 25 1/3 innings for Class A Cedar Rapids and Fort Myers in 2016.”

Yeah, definitely can’t have bullpen issues for a 50 win team.

You don’t even want to know.

CWS Acquire Reliever Cam Booser from BOS
Yes, he was one of the many bad reliever acquisitions that Getz made last year.

He’s likely the next cut if there is an additional acquisition that requires a 40-man spot.

Imagine someone saying that about your job. 🤣

He may never amount to anything but I don’t understand a team in the Sox current state trading any young pitching for old and potentially fluky pitching.

I only like this move because it led to the cutting of Julks.

Naylor to Arizona; Guardians sign Carlos Santana 1 year/12 mil
But they really only saved $2 million for next season’s payroll, as they just signed Carlos Santana for $12 million.

I wouldn’t have been surprised either but Cotillo said it’s a pitcher, although Colas was a pitcher for Cuba…

Naylor to Arizona; Guardians sign Carlos Santana 1 year/12 mil
And then they burn $12 million on old man Santana anyways.

Julks or Shewmake can see their way out any time now. Hopefully both.- CWS Acquire Reliever Cam Booser from BOS
Maybe, but he wasn’t good at all recently either in the minors from 2022 to 2024 with both Texas and Boston after returning from the independent leagues. Sure looks fluky to me. It’s actually surprising Boston even called him up.- Draft Kings sets Sox O/U at 49.5 wins
The first thing Jerry did after firing Hahn and Kenny was promote the assistant GM to full GM after admitting he never interviewed anyone else for the job. He did not consider another candidate for the position, internally or externally. That sure seems like more of the same White Sox way operationally.- CWS Acquire Reliever Cam Booser from BOS
Yeah, he was the other bad lefty reliever that Getz traded a second round draft pick for and then dumped for cash two months later.- CWS Acquire Reliever Cam Booser from BOS
4.82 ERA and 1.56 WHIP in the minors. Last year may have been a fluke.- CWS Acquire Reliever Cam Booser from BOS
Boston’s return is supposedly an unnamed minor league pitcher. Also, Robert Murray thinks he’s a funny guy…- Draft Kings sets Sox O/U at 49.5 wins
Who was Jerry’s immediate choice for new GM after admitting that he did not interview anyone else outside of the organization, or anyone else period?- Off-Season Pass the Time Catch-All
I’m all for trading Martin. He’s not old but he’ll be turning 28 next month. But you would have to get decent value for him. If he’s a decent back end starter he has value. He isn’t a free agent until 2031. So it might be better to wait for him to put up a good full season next year before moving him. I’d also rather keep the much younger Cannon and see if he breaks out.- CWS Acquire Reliever Cam Booser from BOS
Yep, just what this team needs. More old players like Tauchman and Slater.- Roki Sasaki Free Agency - Dodgers vs Blue Jays for Roki's heart
Perhaps Sasaki has already been to Chicago and New York, but if he hasn’t and he was at all interested in playing for teams that weren’t in the west coast, one might think he would want to see what those cities were like during the teams’ presentations.- 2024-25 Offseason Plan Thread
“The Yankees and Paul Goldschmidt have come to terms on a one-year, $12.5 million deal, according to the New York Post’s Jon Heyman. That’s one more hole filled for the Yankees. The 37-year-old Goldschmidt is in obvious decline, but he did perk up some in the second half of last season, hitting .271/.319/.480. He’ll have to get used to hitting low in the order in New York, but that process did already somewhat start with the Cardinals. With Ben Rice out of the first base picture now, it will be interesting to see if he’s given a shot at the backup catcher gig in spring training. The problem there, though, is that both he and Austin Wells are left-handed hitters.”- Draft Kings sets Sox O/U at 49.5 wins
Not for CHGO apparently. No one cares about the White Sox because they are so bad. - CWS Acquire Reliever Cam Booser from BOS
