  1. You know the Braves will turnaround Bummer and Sale will probably have a healthy season. The rest of the ex-Sox are just bodies for AAA.
  2. Between Love and Carlson, the Packers were primed for chokage.
  3. Never fear. Jordan Love is always good for a stupid INT. Goodbye, Packers!
  4. You are easily impressed. The team sucks.
  5. I totally agree. Remember this? ?
  6. First Leury and now Yolbert.
  7. The way the free agent market is going, I think I would agree. Some guys are going to have to accept some cheap deals and I think he is one of them.
  8. Nailed it, haha. Loved the Reinsdorf dunk tank comment.
  9. Whoever mentioned it could be worse is right I guess. Someone said at least it’s not Zach Zaidman and they were spot on. I have no idea how that guy has a career in broadcasting. Worst monotone and boring voice of all time.
  10. Unfortunately, not every player you can acquire can be a former Royal.
  11. The local push actually started months ago. I thought it was going to be Monaco for sure so I wasn’t too worried about it, but once I heard tools like Lawrence Holmes and Dan Bernstein hyping up McKnight for the job just because he was a Score guy, I started getting worried. McKnight is terrible.
  12. Is there any doubt that Monaco talked to Benetti about this shitshow of a gig and immediately took his name out of the hat? Connor McKnight? Seriously? This tool gets to the finals? Good god. I don’t even like Benetti all that much but I’d rather watch him eat than listen to these three tools. Reinsdorf, never change, you douche.
  13. Another fourth outfielder option, if Getz is interested. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2024/01/yankees-designate-bubba-thompson-for-assignment.html
  14. Some team is going to have to bite on Cease at $20 million or so for 2 years if a closer can cost 5-years and $95 million.
  15. Greatest analysis ever here — “Mateo (they need a SS)” Apparently the Marlins need an absolutely horrible shortstop. Quick Getz, call the Marlins and see what they will give you for Nicky Lopez! He also thinks the Orioles have a shot at signing Bellinger to a 2-year, $50 million dollar deal.
  16. Yes, I like how almost every proposal is like something out of Madden or The Show. Let me give you the players I don’t need that are either blocked or old and expensive for exactly what my team needs. Maybe throw in Joey Ortiz with Santander and the Marlins will accept! ?
  17. I’m not even going to bother to look at that site but I truly hope their fans aren’t this clueless. A 29 year old Santander making $11.7 million in 2024 is about the last player the Marlins would want included in the return for Luzardo, or any of their players.
  18. Which is worse because Jerry would have even less of a reason to build a competitive team than he does now.
  19. I could buy this. Cease is a Boras client as well, but unlike Snell and Montgomery, he’s going to get paid the same over the next two years regardless of what team he’s playing for.
  20. I really doubt the Sox will be including any prospect in any sort of Cease trade.
  21. If we had ownership that knew when to spend money, like the Cubs prior to 2016, I would prefer the long rebuild. But obviously we don’t have that kind of ownership and the draft changes have also hurt that strategy anyways. Either way, quick retool is the way JR and Getz want to do it. We can only watch the likely failure.
  22. I’ve been a Sox fan since the late 80’s. To me, 6 playoff appearances and 1 World Series in 35 years is more prolonged years of losing than years of success. Regardless, we all know what happened with Hahn’s rebuild. Our owner refused to take the next step and sign the big time free agents needed and then decided to bring back the corpse of his best friend and favorite all time manager.
  23. Dealing with “prolonged crappiness” is a trait of every true White Sox fan.
