I don’t understand this thought. Why couldn’t he have been called up to help this year’s team?

The Brazoban deal was great. He overpaid for Castillo a bit in that he should’ve gotten back some more cash relief for Castillo’s contract next year outside of Seranthony’s money, but still not the end of the world. But this trade is grade A manure. 💩

My question is, why does he think a player is worth obtaining that has had two straight bad offensive years at the hitting Mecca known as Coors?

You said yourself that this trade is an overpay, which is truly an understatement, so why are you questioning any of the majority of posters that think this trade blows? You are quite a weird one.

Maybe Peters slipped in the shower and broke a toe or something? This just doesn’t make sense, even with Peters’ decline. His decline still isn’t as bad as Doyle’s past two seasons. Brutal.

Some people were worried about trading the strikeout king Wolkow. I would have preferred to trade him all day over Adams.

It’s just a really bad trade when you can’t even be confident that the player you got back will help the team more for even this year than the prospect you traded. Just an awful use of resources.

The whiniest among us will make up hypothetical bullshit to excuse an awful trade by Getz. You know, a trade that he actually made in real life and not in your fantasy land.
