Getz dumped two outfielders that could actually be more productive than the outfielder he acquired and paid for with a 15 to 20 ranked prospect in the system, along with a lottery ticket kid. Not that big of a cost, but when said outfielder has a career line like the one below, it looks like a potential waste of resources, and I understand that he has an excellent glove. .234 .285 .385 .670

Yes, looks like he missed him. That was obviously a good signing.

DFA’ing two outfielders, including a 25 year old? It’s fairly obvious at this point that Getz ran out of time at the trade deadline and mismanaged the roster. I don’t think this can be denied at this point. He was obviously trying to eliminate the roster crunch by moving Pereira/Hays in some deals before the deadline but failed to do so.

My oldest son is getting ready to start college. He just found out recently that one of his football teammates and classmates at Brother Rice died in a car accident. The kid hadn’t even turned 18 yet. I can’t imagine how the parents must feel right now. I know I wouldn’t be able to focus on my job, and I damn sure wouldn’t care about the game of baseball for a long while, if ever.

Looks like two good 5 inning starts for Urquidy so far but he’s not striking enough batters out.

The team, more than likely, assuming it is legit and they find out about it. I have no idea what his ability to speak or type in English has to do with this. If the comment is truly from him, it’s not at all difficult to understand what he typed.

I said in the original thread that it could just be a Photoshop. However, you don’t know if it’s real or fake anymore than anyone else, so I’m not sure why you are running your mouth about it.
