The Pride of Naperville
Lopez just said that obviously baseball is a game of failure and you aren’t going to get a hit every at bat but he has a great glove, always gives his best effort, and has those mysterious intangibles to improve the team’s culture. Even he knows he can’t hit.

Why is it okay for the White Sox to use surge or dynamic pricing but not Wendy's...?
In a million years, no human being would link these two topics together.

Now that TA is gone, what is going to replace the quasi gangsta fist thing players did when they got on base?
The sad fact is that Tim Anderson could’ve “changed the game” and been the next superhero for young African American kids everywhere to want to play baseball over basketball and football, but he decided that extracurricular activities outside of his wife and family were just as important as his performance in his baseball season. Bad decision. From the Field of Dreams game against the Yankees when he was at his zenith of being a star to absolutely sucking last season before he hit free agency because he was too busy worrying about his Instagram side piece… Now he’s an afterthought of a player who has to sign with the lowly Marlins for almost the same money as 37 year old Martin Maldonado. What a pathetic and embarrassing fall from grace. Any comparison of Anderson to Jackie Robinson has proven to be short-sighted and completely off-base. The guy will be forgotten in baseball history in ten years.

Does it even matter? He’ll bat second until he’s taken out of the lineup due to some injury, shin splints, back issues, hangovers…

All of the above, including the Bears/Sox/Cubs ass kisser with no voice, no talent, and no game Zach Zaidman.

Going to Vegas for the weekend tomorrow...how many wins will the team have this year?
You are delusional. It’s like listening to Hawk in his prime in the very beginning of every season, before he inevitably turned to the dark side after the losses piled up after the first half of the season and took the Sox out of contention.

It’s called defensive value. Abreu was mostly a turnstile. And RBI’s have a lot to do with being in the 3 hole. Learn baseball.

Apparently, publicly cheating on your wife and knocking up Instagram hootchies is also more important than baseball wins.- How to Draw Someone to the Ballpark 2024
Haha. The proven Sox front office strategy, which has, never worked?- How to Draw Someone to the Ballpark 2024
This would turn into angry fans throwing CDs and DVDs at Sox players like ninja stars because the team is so bad.- How to Draw Someone to the Ballpark 2024
Fat [Sushi] Roll Fridays. All the sushi you can eat for $10 bucks on Fridays.- 2/28 Sox at Padres
He probably feeds off the hate like Emperor Palpatine. Every time he reads a tasteless comment from a Sox or Bulls fan about his untimely death, he actually gets stronger and it adds ten years to his life.- 2/28 Sox at Padres
Ironically, last week, The Score played an audio clip of JR recently saying something like how he accidentally / made the mistake of listening to a White Sox podcast, not so subtly ripping on Sox fans. The Score hosts ripped on JR for being a sarcastic d-bag about it and bashing the fans yet again. I wish I could find the exact quote.- Now that TA is gone, what is going to replace the quasi gangsta fist thing players did when they got on base?
Fans of a team that just had an inside-the-park homerun shooting, have no room to talk about other teams’ fans.- Grifol: DeJong, Lopez, Maldonado are good on offense
Well, Getz also had to go above and beyond what Kenny and Hahn did to get the GM job with very little experience. JR thought Getz was head and shoulders the best candidate. How Grifol got hired, I have no idea.- Grifol: DeJong, Lopez, Maldonado are good on offense
Biggest lie of all: Paul DeJong should be on a major league roster with a major league contract and starting for a Major League Baseball team.- Grifol: DeJong, Lopez, Maldonado are good on offense
JR loves to hear that cheap veteran free agents can still have that one last magical season. Dumpster diving for veteran position players has been a White Sox staple for years. It doesn’t matter who the GM is — Kenny, Hahn, or Getz. It’s the front office strategy.- 2/28 Sox at Padres
People will say it’s early in Spring Training but half of our projected starting lineup can’t hit at all, much less slug, so it will be ugly to watch all season.- Grifol: DeJong, Lopez, Maldonado are good on offense
The sad thing is that a very small number of posters on this message board actually liked most of Getz’s moves this offseason and probably buy into the ? that Grifol is selling.- Grifol: DeJong, Lopez, Maldonado are good on offense
I wouldn’t be surprised if Buehrle could still outpitch some of the suck on our 40-man roster.- Grifol: DeJong, Lopez, Maldonado are good on offense
Grifol on Grifol: “I’m an idiot when it comes to player evaluations.”- 2/27 LA Ohtanis vs Chicago KCs
Makes you wonder, did Getz really think he could build what JR was expecting this year — just a few tweaks and the Sox could be a contending team — or did he just promise the world to get the GM job? - Now that TA is gone, what is going to replace the quasi gangsta fist thing players did when they got on base?
