  1. I find it funny that we have heard numerous stories over the years from legitimate sources about how dysfunctional Jerry’s organization has been run but you would question a poster on this site that has done interviews and obviously has sources of his own. Sure, not every story is going to be true but we know of plenty that are. The only thing that will clean the s%*# stains off of this organization that were left by Jerry will be when he finally sells the team.
  2. Need a new gif with Venable and Murakami and a bidet.
  3. MLB Trade Rumors predicted a 2-year, $24 million dollar deal for him. But at this rate, he may have to sign for 1/$10 million.
  4. It sounds horrible. Do you still wipe with TP and if so, how much wet TP gets stuck in your crack?
  5. Rangel Ravelo, a name from the past.
  6. Is the Venezuelan Winter League on par with the MLB in terms of difficulty?
  7. Some people on Twitter are saying that these trade details could be wrong.
  8. Also, anyone that can recognize that Getz has had a pretty good offseason should also be able to acknowledge how absolutely brutal his first offseason was.
  9. The Rays are apparently the third team involved.
  10. Brooks probably has some 18 year old intern doing this work. He gets paid in stale bagels and coffee.
  11. Embarrassing is right. The Sox are currently 27th in MLB payroll even after all of these moves that had to happen after the Robert money was freed up.
  12. No idea. Weird team to claim him considering their roster. He could very well be DFA again.
  13. Google says $55,000 to $100,000 with $100,000 being the cap.
  14. I’m thinking they are done after seeing this. Bruce says the cash from Boston is all for 2026, which means that pretty much the exact amount of the “Louis” Robert money freed up has now been spent. Seems like too big a coincidence how that worked out.
  15. I’m shocked anyone wanted him, but yeah it won’t be much.
  16. Venable said that Newcomb would at least get a crack at the rotation in ST… https://www.mlb.com/news/sean-newcomb-to-compete-for-white-sox-rotation-spot
  17. Yep, seems like they wanted Sandlin badly and think he’s a better investment for a future and long-term starter option than spending $10+ million a year on a short-term free agent starter option.
  18. Yep, Romo has been claimed three times off of waivers by the Orioles, Mets, and White Sox, so he’s most likely gone. A 24-year old catcher that has shown he can hit in the minors is desirable. Wish they chose someone else.
  19. Yep, 2 PTBNL for the White Sox and 1 PTBNL for the Red Sox. From our boy Merkin… https://www.mlb.com/whitesox/news/jordan-hicks-trade-white-sox-red-sox
  20. Not a fan of this DFA. Would have rather seen it be someone like Tristan Peters or Bryan Hudson
  21. Yep, whenever a Sox/Sox trade is discussed, people either need to explicitly add the color or use cities.
  22. I thought he was saying that the Red Sox save $16 million by moving Hicks, even after sending $8 million to the White Sox. Hicks was owed $24 million over the next two years.
