wealz at wsi
I guess he showed up about a month ago. He pulls Randar's chain at every opportunity.

wealz at wsi
he's just got more of a soxtalk personality than a wsi personality...seems to follow the minors quite a bit. thought it might be that brando guy or something. ???

wealz at wsi
that guy cracks me up. anyone know if is he a banned soxtalker?

If it's either Konerko or ElCaballo that has to go
oh, i dunno. depends on what you could get in return. Lee is more consistent, so I'd prefer to keep him.

Starting Rotation
Grilli's "stuff" looks pretty good, but the results aren't great. I think he had an ERA over 4.00 in Charlotte....I think he's good enough to keep around....barely.

Ultimate Nightmare Scenario
Cubs v. Twins World Series Who would you root for?

What should the Sox focus on getting....
at least 3 GOOD relievers.

Baseball Prospectus examines
I saw that and I agree with most of it.
-
Believe it or not but....
I believe you are correct. Twins are on pace to win 95 games. With frank and magglio, we are not a 95 win team.
-
Believe it or not but....
I concur. I hope JR and KW are watching too.

Ex-Sox farmhand goes wild
i guess we can't criticize that trade anymore...

Timo "Broken Clock" Perez
so you're saying the 50 at bats with RISP this year matters, but the 1200 other career at bats don't? ok.
-
Timo "Broken Clock" Perez
cool. since stats dont matter the sox are now in 1st place!
-
Timo "Broken Clock" Perez
great. he's a pinch hitter. keep it that way.
-
Timo "Broken Clock" Perez
timo sux. look at the stats. .694 OPS is a joke. 20 career stolen bases and 19 caught stealing. he's 5th OF material.

In the system or out?
I think it just boils down to poor talent evaluation. People say "none of our top prospects ever turn out." Well, that happens to everyone. The problem is we don't have many "top prospects."

Ross Gload- Starting first baseman in 2005?
RG + $8,000,000 > PK

Emerging Everyday South Side Stars
I agree with you 100%. KW has no plan.

Adkins Fastball
RE: Adkins I admit I was wrong on him so far. His minor league stats suggested he would get pounded in the majors. Maybe he picked up some new technique or something, I dunno. However, I would not count on him maintaining this level, let alone improving still. For next year I would use him the same way, kind of a middle innings guy.

Next year with Everett
that is my understanding as well.

Stone just ripped on Alou
i love it. although i hate the cubs, i love stone. he's the best.

Gammons 2k5 free agent outlook
I think wilson alvarez is a FA. i wouldn't mind him as a fifth starter/long man.

Great Nancy Faust article
it almost sounds like "she gone!" i had canned music. organs are cool. the old wurlitzer at chicago stadium....
-
Kris Honel
Having seen him on tape, it never occured to me that you were talking about his "body frame." It's obvious he's no stick figure.

A Labor day Miracle
Why is it that we finally find a fifth starter when we're out of it? If one of those guys could have put together an 8-12 5.25 ERA type of year, we'd be right in the race...
