Wilson Valdez is basically a bag of balls guys, don't get excited about him at all. The only reason why he's hitting decent this year is because the park he plays in, Albequerque, is a HUUUUGE hitters park. He's your basic Dominican who can't hit much, runs well, and sports a decent glove.

Borchard has a freaking .328 OBP in AAA in over 200 ABs. When you've got guys like Reed, Anderson and Sweeney behind him, Borchard should be deemed expendable, rent-a-player or not.

The Yankees have Robinson Cano, Jaquain Arias, Dioner Navarro and umm...Sardinha? Outside of Duncan, they have absolutely nothing really. I think KW would have Garcia by now if he gave up Borchard in the deal. If you're honestly worrying about giving up Borchard for a front of the line stater, you've got problems.

I want to say he throws a fastball-slider combo but I'm not positive. Good control, decent stuff, but knows the strike zone and the ability of his pitches. Comes from Hungry Horse, Montana and has put up very solid cumu stats throughout his career.

I know I've said this before, but Chris Young's stats are eerily similar to those of a Mike Cameron: mid-low BA, plus power, can run like hell, strikes out a lot, walks a lot. .244 BA 12 2B 11 HR 26 BB 67 SO 17 SB .350 OBP .488 SLG I've also noticed that he is streaky as hell. He can go through an 0-fer slump with 2+ strikeouts every game and then hit a streak where he just destroys the ball while drawing a ton of walks. What do ya think?
