I'd prefer Getz there because that means Owens isn't starting. Getz may not have the speed of a leadoff hitter, but he is patient, works pitchers and can take a walk. Gimme Anderson in CF, he is a better hitter, has the best gun in the OF and is a GG-caliber fielder. I like Wise as the 4th OF, too.

In my opinion, it's the length of the school year that is the problem, it's the lack of incentives to become teachers. Teachers need to make more $$, so that more people see teaching as a career. Once teachers get the money they deserve, brighter people will decide to teach and the education system will benefit. I for one would hate having no summer; that is when you go to camp, enjoy the weather and such. I see no reason to change the school year, just give teachers money.

Major: Journalism (Hoping to graduate Summa Cum Laude) Minor: Spanish And going to law school hopefully in fall of '10 (very scary thought).

Wow such a frustrating team. They look so damn good right now, but you know the next game, they could just look lost. I think the talent level was definitely improved though. Is that Tim Thomas or Reggie Miller? Man, is nailing the trey.
