  1. Happy birthday Tex! And why are we hiding this in here, did the thread starter have a senior moment too?
  2. I won't lie, it's been added to my playlist this past week along with a couple others off the new album.
  3. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Aug 31, 2006 -> 01:06 PM) Jon Garland has absolutely, positively no chance at winning the Cy Young. Jermaine Dye has a better chance at winning the MVP. And with a Red Sox player and a Yankee player ahead of him, he also has no chance. With him missing games and the Red Sox looking like they're golfing in October, Papi deserves no mention in the MVP talk anymore.
  4. Just a small town girl Livin' in a lonely world She took the midnight train Goin' anywhere... 1.5 lead in the WC!
  5. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Aug 30, 2006 -> 11:26 AM) We will end up pretty damn smart being the first one's on his bandwagon, eh? Now don't forget what I said about their averages when I was a couple months back.
  6. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Aug 29, 2006 -> 11:24 PM) I think Dye batting 3rd is the way to go from here on out. ^^^ It worked last October. It shall work now.
  7. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Aug 29, 2006 -> 03:21 PM) Looks like Jeff Teague is going to chose IU over several colleges including SIU. Oh well, his loss. When he comes here next year, he'll find out that he made the wrong choice. Where'd you hear this? And for the Gordon information, I'm ignoring that. I have no reason to believe he's not going to Illinois, until I get official news otherwise. Everything is basically hearsay.
  8. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Aug 28, 2006 -> 07:19 PM) Overrated. But seriously, there are definitely ways to get around going to class in college and still get good grades. I'm reporting you to the services.

  10. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Aug 28, 2006 -> 11:33 AM) I take it Morton is a pretty big high school (or it would be in Iowa). f***in Indianans. Indianans?
  11. QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 28, 2006 -> 06:12 AM) That weather the last 4 holes was crazy. Heh, yeah. They had every kind of weather but snow in the playoff. And for those that are interested, ESPN.com is running a feature on Tiger's first 10 years on tour this week. http://sports.espn.go.com/golf/features/tigerwoods/index
  12. QUOTE(RX Bandits @ Aug 27, 2006 -> 06:28 PM) I could be wrong...but I don't think Baltimore's pitching has improved any, if at all after the signing of Widger. face it he sucked. Everyone in this thread knows. It's one of those pointless stats.
  13. Going into our first off-day since August 3rd, we finally have a new poll on the front page. VOTE and DISCUSS
  14. Tiger claims his fourth straight and 52nd victory. Tiger won the WGC-NEC Invitational after defeating Stewart Cink in four playoff holes.
  15. Here's good reason why Chicago's my favorite city. Glad you had a great time, and am looking forward to seeing your pictures!
  16. I'm glad that he's doing this. Though golf's one of last sports you'd expect performance enhancing to be done in, it doesn't mean they should pull a baseball and ignore it until it becomes a problem. And that sounds like Tom Finchem's (the PGA commish) intentions at the moment.
  17. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Aug 26, 2006 -> 04:33 PM) I have mixed reactions about IU being on his list. That's exactly what I thought when I saw we were in the mix now.
  18. We're the planeteers, You can be one too! 'Cause saving our planet is the thing to do, Looting and polluting is not the way
