A Sox trade brewing....
QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ May 25, 2005 -> 05:37 PM) Heaven forbid you would want a winning team here in Chicago.. :rolly <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ZERO of KW's teams have finished with a losing record. Get a new act already.

Devil Rays vs As
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 25, 2005 -> 07:38 PM) Oakland will take it's lumps this year, but they've still got a pretty good group of talent for the upcoming years in Meyer, Haren, Harden, Blanton, Street, Chavez, and Swish... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought Oakland was going to compete for the division title this year. :rolly

Trade Revisited
Joe Crede sucks, and Chavez is very overpaid. The guy is paid like a slugger yet he has never had a season with and OPS of .900.

Carlos Lee with hit #1000
QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ May 21, 2005 -> 07:27 PM) Not to mention all the money we saved. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We could've saved more by switching to Geico.

White Sox vs Cubs Game 2 Thread 5-21-05
Big DP right there. If the Sox can get some f***ing work done this inning, Baker might have to pull Fat boy because he'll lead off.

White Sox vs Cubs Game 2 Thread 5-21-05
Guillen should have Willie drop a bunt next inning. He might get on base, and Zambo will be pissed off enough to throw at someone.

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 20, 2005 -> 06:11 PM) Anyone know what the wind will be like tomorrow? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I expect the wind to be at least 15 MPH blowing in from the pitchers mound due to that overrated, fat f*** huffing and puffing all day tomorrow.

Dontrelle Willis going for win #8
QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 17, 2005 -> 11:40 PM) Meh...I wouldn't have had a problem with D-Train keeping it going; he seems like a good guy. JG does get to wear the crown now though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LA pwns Willis. I saw on the bottomline that he had a 16.20 ERA against them before last night's game.

QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ May 15, 2005 -> 08:56 PM) I'm guessing its the AIM virus that sends the virus to everyone on his/her buddylist. I've never actually received the IM, but I have had other people mention it to me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well I never talked to him before, so maybe he just putn everybody on Soxtalk that has AIM on his buddy list.

WhiteSoxFan5644
While I was away an AIM user with the screenname of "WhiteSoxFan5644" IM'd me with a link to his pictures. I had a feeling it was some virus, (I later clicked it but cancelled the operation) so I was just giving a heads up. The user name of WHITESOXFAN5644 is registered here, but not WSI, so I figured maybe some other posters here got the same IM too.

I'd give him the run too considering there were two outs, the ball wasn't hit that hard, and AJ has had problems with plays at the plate this year.

Putting this Trade Shingo talk to rest.
IIRC, Shingo has a no-trade clause for 10 teams. And as for Contreras, Jabroni, that's the first time I ever heard that Contreras didn't want to leave New York. What about that quote he had about someone asking you to leave their house?

QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 12, 2005 -> 06:08 PM) If you want to know the truth behind P.E.T.A. and their terrorist connections. Penn & Teller, Bulls***, P.E.T.A. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was just going to post this.- Fast forward to the deadline...
QUOTE(qwerty @ May 11, 2005 -> 06:46 PM) We are not gonna pay a closer more than 3/5 of our rotation. I don't care how good he is i don't want to pay a closer 8+ million. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We'd be paying him $4 million if we were to get him halfway through the season. As for the payroll, who gives a s***? If JR and Co. are willing to raise it to get Wagner, why complain about how much each player is getting paid? - Pie in the Sky Proposal
