You have to develop a taste for beer.
If you have to put a fruit, salt, or some other s*** in your beer to make it drinkable, it's a s***ty beer. (Corona, and Corona Light.)
If you are young and you happen to like the taste of a beer, I'm guessing it's due to the beer not having a "beer" taste. (Mike's Hard Lemonade, Hooch, Hornsby's)
If you are drinking a light beer to cut down on carbs or calories or some other bulls***, your beer is tasteless and you would be better off drinking water. (Michelob Ultra, Aspen Edge)
My popular domestic preference is MGD in a bottle. I hate light beer, but I will drink it if it's the only thing availble. I prefer Sam Adams' Boston Lager, Guinness draught, Octoberfest beers are good, and I had a Blue Moon for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and it wa really good. And I drank it without the f***ing orange slice they give you.
Some of you may have seen those commercials for Coors Light talking about how they always keep it cold after they make it. THAT IS BULLs***! Back home, Coors was distributed by the guys who delivered Miller, and that s*** is at room temperature when it comes into the liquor store.
