Would you have written off Greg Maddux after 1987? I'm not saying Anderson is as good as Maddux, but giving a guy one half-assed shot to prove himself and then writing him off for good when he did not do so well is completely stupid. People b**** about our farm system not producing anything, but how are they supposed to produce results if they can't even get a shot to play. Sweeney was screwed out of playing time too when he was called up after Thome went on the DL last year. McCarthy was stuck in the bullpen.

I know Swisher made the play and the Sox won the game, but I was wondering why Anderson wasn't in CF as a defensive replacement in the 9th inning today. I am willing to accept Quentin as the 3rd OF but Owens will get the nod over both. Send Ramirez down when Owens comes back, and make him the be in the pinch runner role which apparently Anderson currently has. Running is the best and only thing Owens can do. Hall looked terrible today too.

If you owned Beta when it first came out you were actually ahead of the times. I have three cars (all paid off,) two flat screen TV's, two HD-DVD players, a PS3, Netflix, Ipod Nano, Passport 8500X radar detector (second one I bought, first one was stolen,) three laptops (one is good, one's in the s***ter, and the other one I just sold to the roommate,) but I JUST got off my parents cell phone plan (I was really getting around to it,) and got rid of my silly, cheap generic Kyocera phone for an LG with a QWERTY keyboard. I used to get so many questions about my s*** phone, but I don't really use it as much as everyone else.
