$40 for the 2005 White Sox. What should it say? -

Well I don't want Roger's, but if it was someone else on his level related to the Sox and I had something funny to say, I'd be all over it. -

It's only $325 a year. Is it a 1 year committment? -
If I'm reading the first post correctly, you also drove on a suspended license. So you f***ed up twice. There's also nothing wrong with getting smashed as long as you're not driving or doing something risking the health of others regardless if you been convicted of a DUI or not.

That's one of the best sorted baseball boards I've seen. I also like how they seperate the off field stuff from what's currently going on with the team.

Kotchman's OPS is 1 point less than Konerko's from last year. Santana has been a huge surprise and was given a chance due to injuries. If we had him he would push Danks or Floyd out of the rotation (the other three are locked in due to $$$) so there really isn't too much of a difference....so far. Kotchman arguably outproduced Konerko in 2007, which was a down year for Konerko, and this year he is outproducing him in another better lineup and he's healthier. Chad Tracy has never put up level of production close to Thome. That's why it's much sillier to ever suggest replacing Thome with him.

We should've traded Thome and picked up Chad Tracy, right?

Nyyfans.com did something pretty unique for their Yankee forum. They let their threads live as long as someone bumps it, and they don't split it. Spme people were complaining about the monster threads, so they made a forum just for smaller tidbit threads like putting a slow catcher at the top of the lineup. http://forums.nyyfans.com/forumdisplay.php?f=127

Still on pace.....

If you do this, then you have no problem with Red Sox or Yankees fans stuffing the boxes or putting David Ortiz at first in an NL park.
-
Whoops. Although it didn't matter too much to me as their sale was a fraction of my total sale.

To be fair, I don't consider myself "blasting" you. I was talking about the comments like "any guy who is offended by this should turn in their man card," or "panties being twisted." I think it's quite obvious my comments weren't along those lines. I just get a chuckle on how the minority feel they should dictate what the code of conduct should be in the locker room of a professional baseball team. It's even sillier to compare it to an office place or tie Sox fans themselves to the incidents along with the William Ligue and Eric Dybas incidents.

Bump for Bureau Hamilton: .299/.349/.545 7 HR, 36 RBI's Volquez: 4-1, 1.27 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, 35.1 IP, 42 K's, 1 HR allowed

Why? Because you and Tex are getting blasted with examples that show the Sox players shouldn't be called out and you finally have gotten off your morality high horse? I will give you credit, you're not baiting or creating strawman argument like Tex, but that's nothing new for him. I'll ask the people who are against this stunt, and they are in the minority, and I want an answer: Should the White Sox ban Grand Theft Auto IV from their clubhouse?
-
So if they are not going against the code of conduct, why call them out in this situation? I'm guessing they don't decide what the rules should be.
-
You obviously have knowledge of what the White Sox's code of conduct is. How did you get that info and who made the rules?

- Better get rid of all porno mags. - No music that contains explicit lyrics. Multiple times I heard words like "f***," "s***," and "n****" slip through the news censors. - No tobacco anywhere in the clubhouse. How are we supposed to expect parents to explain to kids what their idols are doing. - Swim trunks in the shower. There are uncensored youtube videos of athletes walking by the camera bottomless. - Greg Maddux should be arrested for sexual assualt. He admitted he pisses on rookies in the shower. I can't do that in my workplace. - Get rid of all alcohol, even after celebrations. It will make children think squirting alcohol and drinking directly out of the bottle is cool and safe Although I will probably never step foot in a clubhouse, if by chance it happens one day I would hate to see this material. Perhaps we should get the government involved and nanny us some more. After we get done with professional sports locker rooms, we can take our Pat Robertson-like war to our military bases.

The players work in the locker room? All reporters work for the White Sox? Every business has the same code of conduct? Who ultimately decides what should be in the locker room? Reporters? the owner? GM? Manager? Tax paying citizens? The state government? The feds?
-
Your opinion. I wouldn't compare any locker room to my work desk. How about we let the White Sox Organization decide their code of conducts for the locker room? We don't work there, so why do you care? I can understand if Slezak was offended by it, but if it's the White Sox's policy on their own turf, deal with it or stay out. How long until a female report complains seeing Uribe or Hall walking around naked and demands to have the Sox shower in swim trunks?
