Naw, screw it. Already told the family I'm not going to make. Left the lawyer a message.

Well I was going to go home to Joliet tomorrow afternoon for Father's day weekend, but I'm not sure what the exact detour is. I have a court date for a speeding ticket Monday Morning in Moline, but I'm not sure if I have to go. http://www.kcci.com/weather/16585101/detail.html I can't drive to Dubuque for this. The original route was to go up I-380 before Iowa City, to US30, then south on US 38 to get back on I-80? Is that closed now? http://www.kcci.com/weather/16585101/detail.html

After tonight's game check out his splits against lefties.

If they have the exact same SLG% that means the guy with the lower BA has more XBH, and if they are avoiding making outs at the same rate, I might be inclined to pick player B. It can also depend on how fast and how often the guys in front of you get on base. I'd much rather have a doubles hitter behind Thome or Konerko and not a slapper.

RED RISING! -
Went to a Sox game one afternoon and the Bulls game later that night and Karko was a few rows behind us. In 2005 Willie Harris took a picture of Carl Everett and I together in the food court at a San Diego mall. In 2006 I stay at the Sox's hotel in Cincy. Crede was a couple rooms down from us and I had Jose sign a ball for me at the bar. Saw a bunch of players while waiting for the elevator.

White Sox sign Esteban Loaiza/Option Wassermann

I loved Loaiza in 2003, and too bad we didn't have Colon. His ERA was 5.62 but his WHIP was 1.21 -

I thought Mickie was engaged to Kenny Dykstra -
Bah, I knew I should've stuck with my original post of calling him "The dude."

good. They were way underpaid for the older episodes.

Iron Man was f***ing awesome. I couldn't believe that was Jeff Daniels in that movie. The whole sequence with him putting together the suit with the 3-D virtual design really made me appreciate the guys who have to do the special effects. I was dragged to Sex and the City last night, and it was absolutely brutal. I never watched the show, but knew the premise and didn't laugh once. It was so long and even my girlfriend admitted it was anywhere as good as the TV show.

We better invade Google.

KW and Ozzie. Orlando Clayton can go f*** himself. He's hasn't been that smart on the basepaths. His offensive line is terrible and his situational hitting like hitting behind the runner has been non-existent. His defense is overrated and has had some blunders that were parts to big innings. He came with a type "A" free agent status, but that's in jeopardy with his pathetic offensive numbers. The Sox still have to run the risk of offering him arbitration promising him at least $7.2 million and then he has to reject it. Who is going to offer him a big deal if continues to play like this? Why should the Sox run a multi-million dollar risk with this asshole? The Sox wouldn't bother to offer arbitation to type "A" free agent David Riske when they need bullpen help and he was only making $1.8 million. He turned in a solid year with the Royals as well. Trade Cabrera.

Looks like we have another Royce Clayton on our hands http://www.suntimes.com/sports/deluca/9687...eluca25.article Do team leaders usually care about their individuals stats this much?

Please, continue to make yourself foolish by comparing him to those players. Neither of them have ever posted numbers close to Thome's, and Thome has come up for the Sox in other situations since being dealt here. I guess all 86 of his home runs were "non-clutch" and meaningless. -

So much for Swisher being an offensive force with the move to a hitter's park in USCF. His home line was .200/.300/.314 coming into tonight's game. -

So what's Hafner's excuse for being absolutely weak for this season and the past year? -

So is his OBP and his SLG% isn't impressive. -
AKA the return of Tubby Hall from the DL. Yes, it was all downhill after that.

Oh I think his honeymoon night tops that. Do based on OPS, Thome has managed to go from being OWn3D to being the owner of Sabathia. -
Yes, which is why it's one of the worst sequels ever. I'm not a fan of horror, but I enjoyed Hostel. It reminded me of Wes Craven's work from back in the day. Hostel II was not creepy at all and the humor was not there.

The game show stuff was entertaining. Hostel II is one of the worst sequels ever made. I watched that horrible movie last night.

Good. It's starting to heat up. Eldred wild whiffing swings should assist Thome, Swisher and Ramirez in cooling off the crowd. -

Oh come on. He's facing Zito. Coming into tonight his line was .241/.241/.310 and that was after he posted a .466 OPS last year. We better give Zito his 8th loss. He had a WHIP of damn near 3 tonight and we only got two runs off him.
