  1. I don't know what kind of budget you are on, but a great place to stay in Tuscon is the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador. It's a golf and tennis resort and nestled right in the middle of the mountains. It is beautiful and has a great pool and hot tub. Here's their website
  2. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jan 25, 2005 -> 11:07 PM) Wayne larivee needs to be shot. He said Kelvin Martin at least ten times.
  3. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jan 25, 2005 -> 11:08 PM) Oh, I'm good Congrats Illini fans that was a great win. I'm even better. That was a great game to watch. In the first half when both teams knocked down something like 5 three pointers in a row, that was awesome.
  4. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jan 25, 2005 -> 08:22 PM) I don't think you understand the English language. When have i ever been cocky, mr. "wisky by 15"? I don't need to put up with people who talk out of their ass. I'm entitled to my opinion. Let's stop this and enjoy the game.
  5. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jan 25, 2005 -> 06:50 PM) When was i ever cocky? You're the one calling for the Iowa team to show up again (which remind you resulted in a win nonetheless). Plus, our D is pretty damn good. Your posts are ridiculous. I don't think you are understanding what I'm trying to say. I said don't get too cocky and think the Illini are going to beat everyone. Not just you, but mostly the team and their fan base. For example, my HS's team started 7-0 and everyone was kissing their ass saying they were going to win state and then they went out and lost two in a row. Tonight will be a tough game, and I have a feeling they are going to lose. I do not want them to lose; however, because the Illini are one of my favorite teams.
  6. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Jan 25, 2005 -> 06:05 PM) According to ESPN, Valpo. Not that hard to research hehe Number one guy is: L. Spencer Gardner, out of Oral Roberts. SB Yeah it is Valpo, I was really suprised when I saw that in the paper this morning. Las year we shot 31% from downtown, so now everyday after practice the team has to make 50 3 pointers in 5 minutes at the end of practice or they have to run. It is working well for coach Drew.
  7. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jan 25, 2005 -> 06:09 PM) Good luck having them shoot 32% again. It's not likely, but Wisconsin does have a stiffling D and they are at home. Just don't get too cocky.
  8. QUOTE(Beastly @ Jan 25, 2005 -> 05:07 PM) Yeah, uh I'm one of the passionate fans....think about it, sitting in the Upper deck, freezing your ass off on opening day...and they are usually in s***ty seats (the upper deck.) A couple years ago it was nice, but with the cold we've been having it might be pretty cold. Damn the season ticket holders and their mighty fine tickets... Just wear a coat or something. You gotta suck it up for opening day! It's the best day of most years for Sox fans, especially when we don't make the playoffs.
  9. Pop quiz: Who leads the nation in 3 point shooting percentage?
  10. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 25, 2005 -> 05:17 PM) Wanna put cash on that? Nope. I'm actually rooting for Illinois, I was just stirring the pot. If they play like they did against Iowa at home, they will lose by 15+ in Madison.
  11. I'm gonna try to talk my dad into the 9 game plan for this season. We usually end up going that many times each year anyways, but it is hard since we live far away and I play about 60 baseballs games each summer.
  12. I'm pissed I can't go this year because my high school baseball season starts over spring break and we have to stay home. Last year I went over spring break and it was fricking awesome. If you are debating as to go or not, please go. You will love it. I met a lot of locals who were Sox fans and the weather kicked ass.
  13. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 24, 2005 -> 10:14 PM) Its capitalized in my own mind... its easier not to capitalize when I log in You don't have auto login?
  14. QUOTE(dasox24 @ Jan 23, 2005 -> 09:51 PM) I had to read 3 books for eng. lit. before my soph. year and before this year, but that's the only summer hw i've ever had. I'm taking AP English next year, so I'm sure I'll have at least 3 or 4 books to read, but you won't hear me complaining. It's just something that comes along with taking AP or honors classes. Although I do agree that it would be hard to do math over the summer if you had no one to teach you how to do it. That makes me glad that my school doesn't give homework over the summer like that. I'm in AP and honors classes but have never had any homework over the summer.
  15. Yeah I was confused when I saw it this morning. It took me awhile to notice the NB/New blood thing. At first glance I thought the NB was some sort of Japanese writing and new blood meaning we got Iguchi. I'm getting used to it now though.
  16. Ever since I transfered to a public school, we never have any homework over the summer. Back in the day when I went to a catholic school I had a math packet and like 5 books to read over the summer. That really sucked. Now all I do in the summer is play baseball, work, and hang out with friends, that is the way it should be.
  17. QUOTE(chimpy2121 @ Jan 20, 2005 -> 10:02 PM) I got an authentic E-Lo All Star jersey from 2003...... Haha I got an Authentic Maggs All-Star jersey from the game. I might be afraid to wear it in public now though. I never thought I'd say this, but I should have went with Everett.
  18. This is starting to piss me off. Everytime a f***ing foul is called against the Pistons all the fans and players start b****ing at the refs. :fyou Detroit and your b**** ass fans.
  19. QUOTE(3E8 @ Jan 22, 2005 -> 09:37 PM) This is nuts. It most certainly is. The Pistons are losing their cool and possibly handing us a victory. This is a playoff atmosphere, what a great game!
  20. QUOTE(Brian @ Jan 22, 2005 -> 06:09 PM) Sun finally came out here and looks like we are clear. Windy as hell, though. Creates drifts after I snowblowed the driveway. Yeah the wind at my house is awful. We didn't even bother snowblowing our driveway because it will just be blown over. The tracks I made going to church tonight were gone by the time I got home. I guess I'm just going to have to get up early tomorrow and hope the wind has died down.
  21. The cell looks sweet. The green walls look to be in this years game, I wonder if the Fundamentals or scout seating will be on it this year. I doubt it, they should at least have added the new roof.
  22. Even though I'm not a big fan of hockey, you guys that are saying it should be locked out forever are just being plain stupid in my opinion. What if the tables were turned and baseball was on strike again and people were saying "Good, I don't like baseball. Hopefully the MLB never comes back." How would you feel then?
