  1. No it's not. When you make that solid contact you never assume it's a home run. You bust your butt until you see that it is gone, and if it's not, you have a shot at a double or triple. It's not a natural thing to admire.
  2. Well I sprinted to first and then slowed down a bit after I saw it was gone. And it was my first home run on a "regulation field" so that made it even more special. Also it was off of a Varsity pitcher and I was only on the Freshman team.
  3. Never a game tying homer, but a home run nonetheless, and I sprinted around the bases. You don't admire it, you get a great feeling and it should make you run faster. Admiring it is something Barry Bonds does, don't be like Barry in the aspect of hustle.
  4. I've stopped caring about the Bulls. I was so excited for a playoff run this past season and they sucked.
  5. Why are you visiting my neck of the woods? And my local cable has every single game. What town are you in?
  6. Didn't we score 5 runs in the bottom of the ninth earlier this year and win? Crede hit a walkoff flyout IIRC.
  7. I believe he has four this year. Tied for third on the team.
  8. He has two home runs tonight and nobody has been on, or they wouldn't be solo shots. How can you complain about Pauly tonight? Good thing I was cleaning the cat litter when the Tribe hit that GS. Mike Jackson should have been cleaning up the cat s*** though.
  9. Lawton can't catch that one as Pauly almost hits one onto the concourse.

    Have a great 18th!
  11. Have fun down in Saint Louie. And try to shut up all those Cubs fans who make the trip to Mizzu. :fthecubs
  12. What!? I would much rather see the 'Stros catch fire and beat out the Cubs for the NL Central. And there is no way the Astros would trade away any of those players. They have great potential on that team.
  13. Happy B-Day! I hope you have a great time. It reminds me of my birthday last year when I got to go to the All-Star game! Birthday baseball games are the best!
  14. It's great to see such large crowds. Those numbers will just continue to rise with every win.
  15. Awesome! I got 50 in, but I will put in a lot more tomorrow because I don't have work and my sister has been waiting for the computer for like 45 minutes so I guess I'll let her have it. Keep voting Sox fans!
  16. Okay, that does work. I will now turn on some Outkast and vote away.
  17. Does that work? I tried it last year and I don't remember it working. I will give it a shot.
  18. I put my 25 in for Frank. Is there any way to do the cookie thing on MLB.com? If so, I will vote for Frank a whole lot more. Maybe us Sox fans could even get Uribe in if we break the Cookie barrier.
  19. Didn't Marte give up a homer to Coco Crisp? Great finish none the less. A lot of negatives that I won't bring up because it is a White Sox Winner!
  20. I like ours better.
  21. He got it until 29 in a row. The hit that ended it was a grounder in the hole between 3rd and 2nd. So he still wasn't hit hard. Two shutout innings!
  22. A great ending to an ugly game. My sternum was already sore and it hurts even more now. I don't know if it has anything to do with the Sox or not. Great win! Let's keep it rolling right on into the Cubs series.
  23. At least you know you can change the ERA. And once again, no he can't get the win.
  24. He didn't go five innings, therefore, he can't qualify for the victory.
