  1. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jun 5, 2005 -> 03:16 AM) Just make sure you sit next to the closest hot chick possible (like I did (and no it wasn't my sister whiteoxin')). LOL As I was reading that I started thinking about your sister. Double Play!
  2. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Jun 5, 2005 -> 07:58 AM) I actually did run the marathon and finished at 4:06 with the 27.2 mile course, but for 26.2 I would easily be under 4:00, my goal time. Damn, you are the man. I can barely run two miles, let alone 26. Congrats on completing the race!
  3. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 5, 2005 -> 01:24 PM) IN reality, that is when all games begin, they just don't publish it like that. ^Yeah that^ I was typing out a long winded response saying basically that when my computer randomly shut off. Next time you go to the game, watch the pitcher and ump. If it's :06 past the hour, they wait until :07 to throw the first pitch. If there are two national anthems to sing, they just start singing them earlier.
  4. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Jun 5, 2005 -> 01:41 AM) Damnit. I was going to post this in the other thread but it got locked as I was typing... --- Assuming it's safe to post about the original topic... I would take the money. No question about it. I don't "live and die" White Sox baseball, and that is not a knock on anyone who feels that way, but I do consider myself a huge, loyal fan. It's still just a game, and sports are filled with owners, managers, and players who treat it like a business. If most of them would rather take the money too, then I don't see why I shouldn't either. The money has the potential to have a much greater positive impact on my life. Ask a loyal Red Sox fan just how different their life is after a championship. Anyways, that's my take. --- I understand what you are saying, but I would still take a White Sox World Series Winner over $100,000.
  5. I watched Anchorman for the second time the other night and thought it was hillarious. I don't know why I hated it the first time. Team America sucks. I couldn't sit through all of it.
  6. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 11:51 PM) I don't understand people that don't care about money or waste it like fools either. Of course people now say sure they would take a white sox championship over 100,000k. I don'r care what anyone says now they would think twice about a championship over the money. If someone did walk up to you and say 100,000k or a white sox championship i have a feeling 99% of people would say the money and that doesn't mean they are not a loyal or die hard fan. There are tons and tons of reasons why the money could be needed. I know i could use it for a s*** load of things myself... and when i say i could use i mean i need. I guess I'm one of the 1%. I wouldn't even think twice about it, I'd take the championship. I guess I'm blessed with the capabilities to make money/not be worried about it. Money is a small part of my life. I spend it on insurance, gas, and food. Having the White Sox win a championship would be unbelievable.
  7. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 11:40 PM) Money= happiness no? NO. I don't understand some people and their greedy obsession with money.
  8. Arena football looks like it would be a ton of fun to play. I'm suprised it isn't more popular than it is. Go Rush!
  9. Absolutely no doubt about it: A White Sox Championship. It's only money. I really don't care about money a whole lot. I have enough of it and will have enough of it later in life. Happiness>>>>>>Money.
  10. QUOTE(Cubs Suck23 @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 06:23 PM) Lets go for the sweep tomorrow.. great pitching matchup tomorrow MB!!!!!
  11. No thread yet? Anyways, That's a White Sox Winner!

  14. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jun 3, 2005 -> 09:58 PM) America. Here I come. Is your hot sister coming?
  15. QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ Jun 3, 2005 -> 10:57 AM) summer job hunting sucks. All us HS kids take your jobs because we can work for more than the summer.
  16. The tricky thing about BitTorrent is the bevel tool. You have to set the orientation of the vertical plane to .442 and then place it under the direct select option. Then you download it and watch your masterpiece.
  17. QUOTE(chi-guy2 @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 10:35 PM) you must be in a pretty pathetic league to see someone have dropped chavez this early in the season That's what I was gonna say. Wow, you better be beating the team who dropped Chavez, the manger is obviously a dumbass.
  18. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 10:29 PM) She was at the game on Tuesday, that was a pleasant surprise. I watched the first inning of the Bandits game tonight. She was on the mound and it was a great shot of her ass all game long.
  19. QUOTE(chisoxfan14 @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 10:23 PM) how about we add Willie Harris to the list!!! How about we don't? Jennie Finch, now that's who we should add.
  20. QUOTE(He_Gawn @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 10:23 PM) And Chavez just hit a Grand Slam. Finally starting to heat up for my fantasy team! It would be awesome to watch him play everyday.
  21. QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 12:29 PM) The best we can hope for is that BB is being pressured to right the ship... he slips on the deck, doesn't get real hurt.. just a bit disoriented, and then calls KW to make a deal. Very likely. My computer graphics class is about to end, time to get back to working.
  22. QUOTE(Cubs Suck23 @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 12:19 PM) Maybe Crede,BMac and Anderson for Chavez&Zito No way Beane would do that. It would take just as much to get Zito as it would Chavez IMO.
