No doubt about it. I believe this deal would have been made before we knew what we had in Uribe. I just don't know what some people expect to get for Wunsch. It seems like some people think he is worth a Jim Edmonds or something.

Bellhorn is doing just what he usually has done. He is a utility player that has some power. He would have been replacing Graffanino. You are over valuing Wunsch. He is an injury proned left handed specialist and that is all our team sees him as and that is how every other team in the MLB sees him. That is why we will not get much for the guy. I know he is very well liked by Sox fans, but be realistic.

What do you expect to get for a left handed specialist? Bellhorn is a Graffanino type. I think that is what Kenny was looking for at the time. You are not going to get much more for Wunsch.

It has been reported on the score this evening that Maggs nor the Sox have broken off contract talks and that they are still very close to a deal in the 5 year 70 million dollar range. He did turn down the contract but that could be because of quirks in the contract and not necessarily the amount of money per year. It could be deferred money, performance clause, or anything else that Reinsdorf likes to throw in. However, he did not ,nor did the Sox, break off talks as first was reported.

I agree, Victor Martinez is the biggest suprise. To me Castilla is still a suprise because he hasn't been this good in a long time.

So obesity is equated with not being an athlete? Fridge Perry was a pretty damn good athlete as is Warren Sapp. I believe both would be considered obese. Someone's weight has nothing to do with being an athlete. There are a lot of bodybuilders that are in shape and at the same time very uncoordinated and unathletic. What makes car drivers such great athletes just because they are mostly thin, sit on their ass for 500 laps, and turn a steering wheel really damn hard?

This is clearly not the same as going to a Cubs game in full Sox gear and cheering for everything bad the Cubs do and everthing that can go wrong for the Cubs. Then chanting Sox are #1 and waving your hat around and pointing at it when the Cubs are losing. Are you doing this at the games when you are wearing all of your favorite team's gear? There is a huge difference between what these morons are doing and what you do. They know what they are doing and they know what will happen when they do it. They are instigating a fight and they want a fight. That is all there is to it.

I believe his contract ran out last week. Maybe he will go over to ESPN Radio and bring Boers with him. He can replace that awful morning show over there. I'd be all for that. Has J Hood shared anything about it? Maybe his website has somethign on it.

Bad choice

I am for real. I don't care what his range factor states. Watch the man play. He gets horrible jumps on balls and doesn't have great speed in order to compensate. He has never been thought of as a good defensive CF.

All that I have read and heard on Reed is that he is a poor man's ichiro. I have never seen him play however, so I am just going by what others write and say about him.
