I also remember Carl Everett making a leaping catch against the wall last year saving a game for us. There is no way that Everett would ever be considered even a decent CF. AROW is not a good defensive CF nor has he ever been considered one.

He has not shown to have plenty of talent at all. He has shown to have talent in spurts. He does not obviously have talent for an everyday position. He obviously has talent of a 4th or 5th OF and that is it. I think he has proven that. I am all for AROW, but from what I have seen he is nothing more than a 4th or 5th OF. He has done nothing to prove that he is more than that. He was finally given his opportunity this year and he couldn't handle it. I always liked to compare him to a Lenny Dykstra, but he has come nothing close to Nails. Too bad, cause AROW has a great personality and seems to be a great team mate. I just wish he had more talent.

Participating in an EVENT such as a car race may be fun and be physically demanding, but how are these things fun to watch or exciting? When I am watching it all I see is someone driving in a circle. I have no idea what little intricacies they are performing to their car. They just keep driving in circles against other people driving in circles. To me that is not a sport. The machine is still the one going at high speeds, even if you are trying with all your might to turn the wheel and hang on for dear life, the machine is still doing most of the work to get around the track. There is no way that NASCAR nor Horse Racing should be considered a sport. They are EVENTS and could be fun to attend, but they are not sports. Track and Field is an event, marathons are events, biking is an event, and yes even NASCAR, and for that matter any type of race, is an event. I wouldn't want to do any of those races or events at 120 degrees. I understand you making that point to seem like there is more stress on the person, but I don't think temperatures make it any more or less of a sport nor do I think it makes the person playing it any more or less of an athlete. Just my personal opinion.

No that is not why she is in the minority. I should make myself a bit clearer. She is in the minority because she is an engineer and her husband owns a racecar which makes her enjoy the event or find more entertainment and excitement in it.

I would still like to know how it is fun to watch cars race in a circle 250 times or so for over 3 hours or so. I mean I loved the sit and spin as much as the next kid, but to things go in a circle that many times? Do you like to watch it for the exciting crashes? I could see liking to participate in a race, but to watch it? NASCAR and Pro Wrestling, if you like these you are a redneck.

Im all for this as well. He should have confidence against a team he has performed well against before. I would like to see what we have in him as well as I am also not a big fan of his.

I would hope we could get more than that for Carlos Lee, Jose Valentin, and Joe Borchard. I don't want any of those guys that are mentioned. I would be very depressed if htis trade happened.

He also played for THE PROGRAM, University of Miami. Big difference in talent I do believe.

I picked 2 but actually only one and a half. I went to Saturday's game and then haf a game on Sunday because I had school until 2:00. I would ahve went on Friday as well but I had class on Friday night as well.
