New Time Poll
Well, this is kind of random, but your right, polls can be really tough and some times, whether you like it or not their is an assload of bias in a poll.

Bajenaru to the Majors
Jeff Bajenaru Reaches the Show By Jason Gage September 3, 2004 FutureSox.com The Chicago White Sox had a spot open on the 40 man roster and they made use of it on Friday when they placed RHP Jeff Bajenaru on the 40 man roster and called him up to Chicago. Bajenaru joins fellow Knights Felix Diaz and Arnie Munoz as well as catcher Jamie Burke in Chicago. Bajenaru, 26, started the year closing games for the Birmingham Barons (AA). Bajenaru was unhittable in Birmingham, compiling a 1.34 ERA and 12 saves in 32 games. Near the end of his time in Birmingham, Bajenaru was nursing a tender groin and the injury continued to hamper him in Charlotte, but you couldn’t tell looking at his numbers. Bajenaru, promoted to Charlotte on July 18th, went 1-1 with 10 saves and a 1.47 ERA in 15 games with Charlotte. His combined 2004 totals show just 29 hits allowed in 52 innings, while striking out 65. Bajenaru has overcome Tommy John surgery, which forced him to miss the 2002 season and is now getting his chance to make an early impression on manager Ozzie Guillen. The White Sox bullpen will definitely be shaken up in the off-season, and Bajenaru as well as fellow teammates Felix Diaz and Arnie Munoz will all get long looks, both in September and next spring. Bajenaru features a fastball, cutter, change-up and knuckle curve. He is most confident in his fastball and cut-fastball. His velocity is anywhere from 90-94, although he typically sits in the 90-92 MPH range. FutureSox.com would like to wish the best of luck to Jeff Bajenaru. If you want to learn more about Bajenaru, check out the Q&A he did with FutureSox.com on May 18th, 2004.

Soxtalk Keeper League
Ok, I was thinking. Here is a format I came up with. I've never paid much attention to how keeper leagues or done, so tell me if this makes sense and we can of course modify it or just scrap it. Each team keeps 7 players. Also, starting this year, each team drafts 5 minor leaguers at the beginning of the season. Those 5 minor leaguers are safe on your roster for hte next 3 years (you don't have to label them keeper players, until the 3 years are up). However, you can't drop/add minor leaguers until the next draft, but you can sign a guy that comes up that was undrafted, but that player isn't eligible to be had for 3 years without actually selecting him as the keeper. The way I see it, this system awards people who can draft a good minor leauger or two cause they can keep them on the roster without worrying too much. I was thinking, regardless, every year, u get to draft 5 new minor leaguers...so at the most, during the three year span, each team will have 15 minor leaguers and then 5 drop off and become eligible players, while another 5 new minor leaguers will join the ranks of each team. How does something like this sound?

9/2 games
Thats awesome, I like Orionny although I doubt he'll make it as a starter. He's got a sweet curve though. Also, Wunsch threw anothe two innings. He's getting it back together and should be a decent fit on some teams pen. Hopefully Munoz can pitch good during September, cause its obvious he's auditioning for a job out of the pen next year, imo.

BJ has been doing really good if I recall. I remember looking him up a couple weeks ago and seeing that. He hasn't played too much though. Another two guys doing well are Jason Vargas (it was reported the Sox had interest in him) and JP Howell. I liked both of them quite a bit.

No offense, but what does this have to do with Apu and a girl. Talking with Apu on AIM often, I'll verify he is a cool, funny guy. I may differ with him on politics, but I got the upmost respect for him. He does his research, has his opinion, and does a good job getting that opinion across.

Sox Not Going to Make Offer to Maggs
He'll still get two mill, and the Sox never offered him 17 mill a year. That may of been what he asked for (which is higher then I ever heard of him asking for) but no way did the Sox offer him that and no way would he of turned it down.

Like Newt said, Bush should of stuck to his original stance which was that the war can't be won. The next day he made a comment that they will win it and what not. As far as the flipflopping goes, I have no problem with attacking a guys record, part of what you have to do is say, I'm better, heres what I want to do, now look at what he's wanted to do. However, the whole crowd doesn't need to be loud SOB's. Their chanting makes them sound like absolute morons, as far as I'm concerned. Just shut up and listen. If you want to clap clap, if a speaker gets to a point where they say something and its kind of like they say it a few times then you repeat as they say it, fine....but FLIP FLOP...FLIP Flop...how about SHUT THE HELL UP

Heads vs. Dan, then everyone vs. Jason
You saying anyone's good in the sack. You know damn well the only sack you've gotten closed to (other then your own...and I shudder to even mention that) is a potato sack.
