Miller pitched good tonight. Walks got the best of him, but no one hit him hard. However, take note that BA was way off when they talk about him having easy gas. He was hitting 91 early in the game, but later in the game was maxing out around 87. However, his curveball was much better then advertised and he effectively used his changeup. Kirk Champion was sitting next to us at the game tonight and I got to talk with him a bit. Very cool guy, who really enjoys the whole roving job. Didn't mention much about the prospects other then the fact that you have the typical busts, but said their were a lot of pitchers in the organization he thought highly of right now. Also said in his years, he's learned a lot of guys you doubt end up proving you wrong.

He looked good in the game. Pulled two singles and hit the other opposite field. He's was working the counts deeper which is something he said the Sox were working on when we interviewed with him today. Seemed like a great guy and he's really been playing good as of late. Another interesting stat on him is this season he's hitting poor against lefties (something you don't expect from a righty) but is hitting somewhere in the .290 range against righties.

Young has been in a big time slump, although he had a hit today and stole two bases in the other game I saw him play. Really showed off his speed and Sickels is being nice when he says average arm strength, its Johnny Damon like in center (not very good, although accurate).

Alex the pictures just start big so u can cut out portions and crop. Some were blurry cause at night I wasn't using the flash (don't want to distract any players) so it makes it less effective.

We were in the press room with him on Saturdays' game. Seemed like a nice guy, although I made a jackass of a comment asking him about last year in Kanny...completely forgetting the fact that he wasn't here.

Was at the Charlotte game. Rauch was brutal, but it can't be much of a surprise. Diaz came in and pitched tremendous. The shot Valenzuela hit today was an absolute bomb. Had to be 420. Stewart also pitched well. Got some videos and action shots and we also interviewed Hankins, Majewski, and Bryant Nelson. I have a piece on Nelson and if I can get my laptop up in the business center then I'll put it up. It deals with the interview which I kind of botched. It was in the dark and I was using the recorder and accidentally turned it off. LUckily I have some good quotes and we got a ton of out of the interview. Nelson was a really nice guy who is definately on my list as someone I'll be pulling for. Majew was a cool guy as well and Hankins was awesome too. All three were very good interviews. Tomorrow we have some set up with Micah and Haig and are going to try and get Young and maybe one other if Mike and I have time.

We have quit ea few of the player pages done. I think I have around 200 photos and videos from the trip and the Knights mentioned they have quite a bit I can use. Their CD burner wasn't working so they weren't able to get them to me now. We did have profiles done for pretty much everyone in AA and AAA. I think this offseason is a more realistic timetable. At the time of that thread FS was opne for a while, but we closed shortly after that and so during the offseason I didn't have much, if any time to do it. This offseason I will Were working on switching to the new format, then the backend will really start coming together

Ya, I was gonna try and make it out for Rockets start, but couldn't. Going to have to get out there once I get back from North Carolina. Everything I've heard is that its amazing, although expensive.

We'll be interviewing Micah and Haigwood on Monday and are going to try and get one with Young as well. Cook had the web gem of the game. It was an amazing catch, but that comment had all of us rolling up in the press box. Micah made a beautiful take out slide in the game...impressed the hell out of me. Antoin Gray, tremendous baserunner. Chris Young....holy s*** is he fast...although he did his whiffing.

I probably have about 150 photos and videos already from the trip between Mike and I. We still have three games left (two today) and one tomorrow and will try to get more. We tried to get as many of players as we could. Some turned out good, some crappy.

Guys, I just read through this whole thing. Its rare of my lazy ass to do something like this, but everyone else is still sleeping and were gonna be leaving for Charlotte pretty quick. Anyway, I'm going to say one positive, thank goodness no one on this board is attacking each other. I didn't read the stuff posted about Steff, but I think its horses*** that someone goes out and attacks a former friend, when Steff isn't baseball. After reading this post, I figured out who baseball is, and it ain't steff. It don't matter who he is. If he wants to tell people, fine by me, if he doesn't fine by me. This is assuming I'm right. I think a lot of stuff came out here to explain the missing whereabouts. Unfortunately, rafa isn't on the site becuase he was suspended. I forget if his suspension is up, but I don't think he was interested in coming back anyway. Rafa was a good poster though, he knew baseball, and for the most part was a nice guy. The incidents that happened way back when were horses*** and to this day I can't believe I bought into the crap spewed for one minute. Just look at aboz and vince's posts and that basically sums up my take. Also I can assure everyone that HSC hasn't been here, she used to visit the site, but I dont' think she's came here for at least a month, possibly a few more. To all the members here, just make sure you dont' attack other members here in this post.

Audio interviews. They all turned out really good. They were leaving for a roadtrip right after the game so we weren't able to get Fields. The video shots are good. Alex, if you look on the server, I uploaded some of the stuff from the 1st game, only a few vids though. But tons of pics for you to look through If u got time u can somehow get them set up so people can view them, otherwise I don't think we'll have access other then the hotel business center until we get back.

The guy Thomas Pauly who pitched in relief was freaking filthy. Hit the century mark and all.
