Our rotation will be sweet. Its gonna be Colon, Buerhle, Garland, Wright, Rauch. Now this whole lineup is really starting to come out. Liefer is now gone and we are going to be signing Flash for the bullpen. This is looking real sweet. Oh ya, now I could really see the Sox signing Jose Cruz Jr as a replacement for Liefer or at least Orlando Palmerio.

I want to buy tickets for the dodgers games right f***ing now! I'm with you on that.

Well...I know one thing..I'm gonna be giving KW some credit tonight when I write my commentary. I always believed we could get Colon and now I'm just so excited. I'm figuring everyone else is as well.

They can't be happy with this deal, considering they didn't get any top flight prospects. I know I'm real excited about this deal. I'll have a commentary written on it when I get home from work.

Well..if any team could take on Tatis's salary it would be the Yanks, but does George really want to add more salary. In all honesty, I don't think the Yanks are involved, they are just throwing rumors out there to piss off the Red Sox and make sure he don't go there. George will drop out if its just the White Sox.

Please tell me that you're not just toying with my emotions. i wouldnt toy with someones emotions like that..... not when it comes to kw anyhow.........and jas i dont know about even being demoted.. not unless they bring up whats his face... he seems to be doing a good job down there anyhow.... i would like to see kw just gone... completely gone....... Well the guy that brought over from the Angels organization (Bob Fontaine?) is doing an awesome job. I here many say he was the guy who built the Angels farm system, which is one of the best in the majors as well.

Liefer, Paul, Jose Valentin....oh ya they need a prospect, so how about Jason Dellaero, we can tell them he's a stud closing prospect. Hey..you asked who I didn't want to see around

Well if we get Colon, why would we need the Yanks...oh wait, could it be for them to take on some sort of salary. Yanks get there left fielder in Lee (I thought they'd be happy with Matsui, Mondesi/White, and Williams, but some say they need a leftfielder), Expos take on a bit of salary, Sox get Colon, and Yanks/Expos get some other guys? I dunno...I'm tired and speculating

I definately think he's going to be demoted to his old position if this season is a flop. If this seasons a flop, I see JR cleaning house and going with a different philosphy where he actually spends a bit and brings in real quality baseball guys as manager and gm, and actually spends a bit on the team, cleaning up his image. Hey, I can wish!!!!!!!!

The flaw is Pettite makes just as much if not more then Colon. Of course I am worried that he weighs 271 lbs cause thats way overweight for a pitcher. It puts too much pressure on his back.

The only thing that would make sense to me is a deal that moves Vazquez to the Sox, Pettite to the Sox and Colon to the Yanks. The Expos cut salary...Yanks get Colon and have a guy thats a free agent at the end of the year, while the Sox get one guy who makes money (Yanks pay for part) and then a quality younger pitcher. Just throwing it out there. Plus, if we took on Pettite, it wouldn't cost near as much players wise.

Almost all GM's would be given a couple years to see what they could do. Also, every gm, if given the chance, will make many many terrible moves..the key is outweighing them by the bad ones. KW just doesn't have the payroll to cover up the bad ones, so he has to be basically perfect for the Sox to go far. They don't have the option to offer a ton of contracts, like so many other teams.
