For all this teen talk I see way too much swearing

Sandberg was Screwed
I know he was a Cub and all, but he deserved to be a first ballot hall of famer. First off, he was the best 2nd baseman in his era, made like 10 straight all star games and won like 9 straight gold gloves. He is the all time leader in homers for second baseman and was a very complete player. How he didn't get voted in his ridiculous.

According to Rogers, 8 million dollars to spend
Lol...Steve Harvey, that great Reinsdorf.

Young Prospects
Well, I wouldn't worry about our first base prospects yet. They have a long way to go and well, Paulie will be nearing free agency around that time. We also have Rogowski whose further ahead of the other first base prospects, but he has a ton of questionmarks too.

Young Prospects
and there is another kid name pedro lopez who plays 2b who with andy playing ss and brice playing 1b, makes up our infield for the future according to the sox scouts report on BA. Yeah, Lopez looks good. Schnurstein was a 3B out of Basic HS, and set the AZL League recrod for doubles, with I believe 28. Haigwood is a HS pitcher who was 73-1 for his HS career, and knows how to pitch. Schnurstein is the 3rd base prospect that many talked about quite a bit after his real good season in Rookie Ball. As Cerb said thats where most of the Sox talent is and those guys are their because of KW. He's doing a real good job keeping the farm system strong.

Collusion
There is a difference between collusion, and Reinsdorf just being cheap. Its so true Ian, so true.

Dane Cook
Thats a good idea. I could use those cd's for my plane trip in a couple weeks.

Buehrle says no to Sox
I don't think its his hatred of KW. It wasn't KW that was doing all that, that was JR's works, or at least thats my opinion.

Justice for Kurt
Damn...that was a good read. I remember once watching something on this subject and i think a lot of people though she was guilty of it. After reading that, mainly the part about the overdose and such, I see a lot of evidence saying it wasn't a suicide. I've always thought Courtney Love was a biatch and I guess my theories hold true against her. Hopefully they will find out if she did this one day, and if so, may she rot in hell.

Buehrle says no to Sox
I dont think Mark rejected it because he's worried about a year off his contract. KW slapped him in the face last year so now mark just said f*** you right back and will wait to kick his ass in arbitration. From what i've heard, Mark was looking for at least 4 years. Looks like Mark's time with the Sox will be similar to Jack McDowell's. Year by year, arbitration as much as possible. Next year the Sox will offer him another 3 yr deal, and this time i think he'll take it. I think Buerhle will be a Sox a long time.

Pitchers age average on the Pale Hose
I think the entire team is by far the youngest in the majors, this side of the Marlins. Other then Sandy Alomar, Frank Thomas, Jose Valentin they are all exceptionally young. Even Osuna isn't too old if I recall.

Toronto trades for Oakland OFer.....?
They got them, but for some reason they had held off on moving him and were going to do it a little later in a seperate, but related deal.

Kelly Holcombe
I like the idea of getting Tim Couch. I'd give them either next years 1st or this years 2nd and 3rd or 2nd and 4th. I'd then do what I could to move up to get Rogers. Of course, I am also not against getting Leftwich, then going with a safety or corner in the 2nd (if someone like Doss falls) and then in the 3rd go with a pretty good reciever (A good reciever project in the late first, early 2nd almost always falls to the 3rd)

Bulls Won
Hopefully not for a couple games, so Crawford can get into a rhythm. If they ai'nt going to start him, then a really good week or two for Crawford could really boost his trade value if thats what the Bulls want to do. Oh ya, Fizer has always had so much talent. Now he is working real hard, and is taking the ball to the hole more. He's a real good shooter, and now that he's going to the hole (The guy is absolutely super strong) he's completing his game. Fizer reminds me so much of Karl Malone, and I think he'll eventually become our starting powerforward, if we aren't stupid and trade him. The guy is a machine off the bench and I think eventually it will be Chandler and Fizer starting at the 5 and 4.

According to Rogers, 8 million dollars to spend
Collusion is when all of, or a majority of the owners agree not to spend money, in hopes of driving down salaries. In the 80's the owners got caught. I'm sure it's something you can look up on the net. Ya, Collusion is when owners get together and talk and say that they won't pay anyone. As Showtime said, it happened in the 80's and the owners were caught and sued and they were hurt big time. Basically its them going out of the way to hold salaries down. I don't believe it is happening this year, I just think owners are finally getting smart. Remember, in the 80's baseballs economy was much different. I think teams were making more money, something that rarely happens in the current economy and payrolls were nowhere near as out of whack as they are now. I can't blame the owners for cutting payroll. THis has to be the first time in a long time that the majority of the teams out their have cut payroll (I'm assuming most of them have or at least, they aren't increasing it). These players are getting ridiculous prices and baseball is a business, the owners need to make profit otherwise they have no motivation to do it. We as fans sometimes forget its a business, and yes its in the business of entertainment and they are mainly millionaires and billionaires crying, but either way its their money and they aren't going to be happy losing it, just like we aren't going to be happy if we had a business and it was losing money.

Buehrle says no to Sox
According to KW, they will play it year by year and I truly think thats what they will do. Their is no way they deal Buerhle unless they are getting Zito in return.

Young Prospects
When Cerb sees this thread he'll give ya a ton of info on his guy Anthony Webster. The Sox drafted Webster as one of those guys that had limited baseball experience, but has tons of atheletism. This guy is already well above average defensively in center field and was very impressive with his bat. The guy hit with gap power (At 19, he's yet to develop all his muscles and the Sox and other scouts see those extra base hits turning into homers as he gets older) and has great speed. Consider him a threat to hit .300, hit 25 hr's, steal 30 bases and win a gold glove in center. I don't consider this guy trade bait, he's a very very good prospect out their. I also have heard the Sox are incredibly high on this kid, and some think if he backs his first season up, he will shoot up as one of the top outfield prospects in all of baseball.

Colon at what price
yeah they would - and yes it is. Maybe one day our dream will become a reality. Its real sorry that we have to dream about adding 8 mill to a salary (In essence cutting the payroll roughly 7 million from last year). Man, hopefully JR will figure it out and have a 50 mill payroll. If thats the case we could do so many things.

Report:Angels, Fullmer sign new one-year deal.
Fullmer was a pretty big dissapointment this year in Anaheim, but he's still a pretty solid player. I think the Angels made the right choice bringing him back. I know I expected him to do a lot better for the Angels then he did. Of course he's going to be platooning with one of my favorite Angels, Shawn Wooten.

Buehrle says no to Sox
You can't complain though, both left the Sox never to do a thing. Ya, Doublem, we have him till after the 2006 season. Also, I don't see why everyone is blaming KW, Buerhle just doesn't want a deal. He's offering a very fair contract, one that would pay more then Sabathia and I think Zito or Mulder, two pitchers that are just as good as Buerhle, if not better.

Who know anything
I just read something on Pedro Lopez. I'll find it tomorrow. I think it was on one of the prospect sites. He's supposed to be pretty good.

According to Rogers, 8 million dollars to spend
The problem is, its going to be hard to prove. Then again, no one is signing for much anything big. Of course, some teams have been throwing money all over the place like the Mets, Yanks, Phillies and even Red Sox. I don't think they will win, but htey are talking collusion. Still, if Collusion was going on you'd bet that JR is involved in it.

ESPN-Would it kill them to talk about the Sox
Well...in their defense what have the Sox done the past couple years to make them want to talk about the White Sox. After all, we haven't exactly been winning the series or even making the playoffs every year or at least trying to. Still, its pretty pathetic they still have the proposed Griffey for Maggs deal, thats like a month and a half old.

Buehrle says no to Sox
http://www.soxnet.net/snreport/388-1.6.html I'm not going to say that quite yet, but it really seems like he doesn't want to be here. Well, the Sox are only going to be investing 600k in him, so it looks like they'll have plenty of money to spend on Colon or Vazquez.
