  1. Just saw a crawl on tv about it. Wasn't sure whether to post it here or in the Filibuster, so it's getting linked to the Fili.
  2. And while we're at it, how about a "cease fire" in Iraq from the UN that has to be honored by the terrorists? It seems to be working so well, after all.
  3. Nope. They *ARE* prepared to do more, but the peace people won't have it. We'd be too aggressive... And, since Hezbollah has done such a WONDERFUL job being the aid workers, why don't they just come in our country to replace FEMA?
  4. I tried to go in and edit my response before the damn site went down again. (@#$% server company). Anyway, I knew you all were going to come back and say this. And you're partially right... but look how many times in that article it had to be referred to about how he was 'aligning with the White House'. That was more my point.
  5. QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Aug 16, 2006 -> 02:34 PM) Lieberman could end up a man without committee assignments or seniority in the Senate. http://www.thehill.com/thehill/export/TheH...1606/news1.html oh noooooooooo, he's not being punished for holding his view for the war, not at all... noooooooooooooo... /rolly
  6. A hard liner would have blitzed these guys. But, they had to do it the 'soft' way. And, the 'leftist' party is in charge now in Isreal. I absolutely see the connection. It's much the same as saying if we wanted to take care of business, we could. But we have to 'debate' and 'compromise' and 'carry on diplomacy'. What part of existing UN resolutions that says Hezbollah must disarm is so difficult? What was so difficult that Iraq had to FULLY comply with UN resolutions? Oh, only if it serves purpose to make the US look bad. Whatever.
  7. Balta, you're right in your comment. And Iran KNEW that this is how it would be played. Brilliant policy - and we got caught with our hands underneath our rear-end. BUT - I think underlying all of this is the 'liberal' regime that is in place in Isreal now. They were not prepared like they usually are. And it made them look foolish.
  8. Yea, cause all those asteroids are now 'planets' if they're big enough.
  9. Happy Birthday, you big turd. BTW, email me. Got some neat stuff going on.
  10. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Aug 16, 2006 -> 02:33 PM) Javier Vazquez, considering his contract, is one of the worst players in baseball. The guy makes money like a top-of-the-rotation starter, but his numbers are what you'd expect out of a mediocre prospect or, say, El Duque. Joey Cora is probably the worst 3B coach in baseball, at least in top 5. He ends more rallies than any non-player I've ever seen. I truly believe this man deserves to be fired. These aren't just knee-jerk complaints. These are things that have been complained about all season. They are legitimate concerns. Oh yea, they (these complaintes) have definitely been noted. A lot.

You can structure the loan (if you have the credit) however your heart desires. It's just how much risk you want to take. And yes, I'm being VERY vague on purpose.

QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 15, 2006 -> 06:34 PM) Short period could be from a year to 5. The pros and cons depend on his financial situation. I don't understand why you guys are trying to scare him from an interest only loan Spider, sit down with your potential lender and go over all the options. IOL's are not as bad as they are being made out to be here. Also, WF for a repeat customer is in the low 5% range right now - being a repeat get's you somewhere between .5 to .8 of a point off prime so the rates you quoted do seem a bit high - though I am basing it someone with a high 700 credit score. I'll tell you why, because in this environment, it can eat your lunch if you can't come up with the money should interest rates go much higher then they are right now. Inflation. It's a baaaaaaaaad word right now, and it could really devastate a person trying to come up with 25%-50% more of a payment in three years after the IOL's adjust. From a very short-term perspective, it doesn't matter. The longer you go out, the more it does matter. We're at historical lows right now, still, and it might not get much better.
  14. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Aug 15, 2006 -> 05:58 PM) OK, then does anyone have the patience to actually figure that out? Dude, I'm sorry. I'm laughing hysterically. I obviously don't. I would think, seriously, he'd have to pitch right around 6-7 innings per game at around 3 runs per to get back to 4.50. That isn't easy, this time of year, when people start getting tired. Put it this way. I'm just glad he's keeping his team in games. That's all that matters. /ducks out of thread now. Sorry to start crap.
  15. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Aug 15, 2006 -> 05:54 PM) Alllllright, I'm just looking for an actual answer here. Not sure why you're being a jerk about it. It's up to the mathmeticians of the site. It would depend on innings pitched, and earned runs... again Not trying to be that much of a jerkass, but I think it's a question that's extremely difficult to answer, that's all. And past history tells me that he sucks (I'm kidding on the last part).
  16. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Aug 15, 2006 -> 05:49 PM) Well, thanks for the snarky response to my legitimate question, Mr. Admin. Anyone know the answer to the actual question? He'd have to pitch GOOD for that to happen. How's that? But they all suck.
  17. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Aug 15, 2006 -> 05:05 PM) How would Garland have to pitch the rest of the year to lower his ERA to 4.50? He sucks. They all suck. They all should just stop playing. Division over. No playoffs. Thome sucks, can't hit for average. Konerko sucks. All bullpen guys suck. Suck. Suck. Suck. Suck. Suck. Ozzie sucks. Suck. Suck. Suck. *sigh*

You'll get better responses from others, but one thing I can say is if it's not fixed right now, there's going to be a LOT of volitility in the markets over the next 3-5 years as the mortgage adjusts. If you don't lock in, good luck - a short term vs. long term issue - just be very careful to not be too shortsighted. If you can't pay for it now, there's probably a reason.
  21. Don't borrow trouble, demand honesty, and give honesty in return. PERIOD. That's it.
  22. QUOTE(Cknolls @ Aug 14, 2006 -> 05:15 PM) C-Span will air the CBS interview tonight, and then will air the entire interview w/o CBS editing. Interesting. Can someone tell me a time? I want to TIVO this puppy - I've heard a lot of interesting rhetoric on this the last few days and want to see it for myself.
