  1. I know. Let's have all the politicians and their staffs who have gotten money from questionable places, have some type of immorality in their background, presses flesh just to get the votes and could give a s*** less about anyone, all resign effective immediately. Oh wait. There wouldn't be a government left.
  2. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 09:27 PM) Mrs. FlaSoxxJim has had a bad week. She is a middle school science teacher. On Tuesday she was driving home on the Interstate and she came upon a group of motorcyclists. It is Bike Week up in Daytona so there are 1000's of people riding their Harleys all across the state. My wife witnessed one of the bikers drive off the road and onto the median for unknown reasons, and hit a rut the sent him and his bike tumbling end over end multiple times. The biker's body took the impact on several of the flips. She called me at work after it happened and was barely able to keep it together as she told me what she saw. Now, I just got off of the phone with her and she told me that one of the 6th graders at her school dropped dead in gym today. The teachers did CPR, used a defibrilater on him, etc., but they never got him back. Needless to say, she is really depressed. Damn, Jim. Wish her the best from us all, and take care of her.
  3. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 09:44 PM) Who cares? It doesn't make it right if the government profits off of it. It doesn't make it right if anyone profits off of it. Which is why the blind eye has been turned toward this for years.
  4. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 08:38 PM) The get paid s***, for the most part. These aren't people making CEO salaries. :headshake Their contributions to the economy far outweigh whatever benefits they get. So do you people b**** about aid the U.S. gives to foreign countries as much as this? No they don't get paid CEO salaries. But for the 13 million (if not more) illegals here, that adds up to a hell of a lot of money over time that should be staying here if they were here illegally. As far as "their contributions to the economy far outweugh whatever benefits they get". There's no way you can make that statement and be correct about it when they are ILLEGAL... they take other jobs that others LEGALLY could have.
  5. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 08:21 PM) stfu? You're obviously not even properly informed on the topic at hand so there's no use in discussing it if you're just going to turn it into an excuse to express your negative bias towards immigrants. First, I wasn't directing the STFU at you, my apologies for coming across that way. And I'm a lot more informed about it then you think. It's called they are here ILLEGALLY. Therefore, they are NOT protected by the US Constitution. Secondly, as Northside asked, and I'll repeat, what I see here is a protest for ILLEGAL ALIEN rights, not the legals of this country. Biiiiiiiiig difference.
  6. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 08:15 PM) Yep, it's that easy... :rolly :rolly It really should be that easy. All the f'in whining and sniveling about "MY RIGHTS BEING VIOLATED" is pure horses***. We're treating these people so f'in badly that they keep coming back ILLEGALLY. STFU.
  7. I hate this, and I'm going to get labled, but screw it. YOU ARE HERE ILLEGALY, STFU, GO HOME, AND COME BACK LEGALLY!! Rights my ass. You don't have any unless you do it the right way.
  8. Damn, Missed. Now which one of you am I talking about?
  9. holy s*** has this thread turned...
  10. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 06:28 PM) I love how much people are struggling to avoid actually having to take on the issue which is trying to be discussed by the hypothetical. :lolhitting That's the funniest f***ing line I have seen on here in ages.
  11. QUOTE(POPPY_HIDALGO @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 06:25 PM) Now that their reigning champs, I don't have to worry and think the worst anymore. It's a beautiful feeling. It's Mr. Blow-It-Out-Of-My-Ass Sunshine!! Get.Real. And thanks for playing.
  12. Of course you all know where this was going, right? Now you're discriminating against one form of life versus another. And, furthermore, why are you all b****ing about abortion if you don't even bat an eye about the petri dish that has life right before your eyes? I'd still save the two year old.
  13. But, but I love you guys.
  14. And I see Flaxx posting, but I also want to add a shout out to our President on this one. This illustrates when the people get ahold of a s*** bomb, don't try to cram it down our throats. "Oh YEA, wha wha wha wha,.... I'll just VETO you if you kill this deal..." That was probably WORSE then what Congress did. At least they represented the people on this issue. But I don't like the political s*** that went with it.
  15. QUOTE(YASNY @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 09:28 AM) Someone stole their thunder ... and they want it back. A MIGHTY goes out to Congress on this whole thing. It was a race for these sniveling assholes to "kill the deal first". Wha wha wha wha wha, sniff, sniff, "WE killed the deal FIRST!"... although the deal may have needed to be killed, that's not the point. As usual, these assholes had to step all over each other to do it first, and then when the House Republicans did it first, the Democrats had to run for the cameras DEMANDING a vote. What a bunch of lugnut, idiotic assholes.
  16. QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 06:39 PM) YAS, I'm going to disagree here. I don't think that showcasing violence in Iraq - of which there is plenty - is done to push a liberal agenda. The fact is that when people get killed, its news. When people are attacked, its news. Especially when it happens as often as it does in a place where we are supposed to control the security of this country. That makes it news. No agenda necessary. So why aren't the 100's of killed every day IN THIS COUNTRY from violence covered with the same fury?
  17. But what makes me SICK is the damn Democrats running for the tv cameras today EVEN AFTER THE DEAL IS DEAD demanding a vote. That's asshole politics at its finest.

    Canada

I don't know when the laws are changing, but I think a D/L is all you need. Soon a passport will be required. And, at some point before the passport, you will need your birth certificate, however, I don't think that's taken effect yet?
  19. QUOTE(AbeFroman @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 06:52 PM) doesn't it seem weird that in the late 80s and early 90s, the Republicans were all about state's rights and shrinking the size and scope of the federal government? BLOATED. BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOATED. That's all.

QUOTE(minors @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 05:48 PM) Yeah been a couple of years, That whole Gaylord Center has done wonders for Nashville I've gotten to know those guys pretty well this year. They've got a pretty good team. Hopefully they can make some noise in the playoffs.

off topic, but do you go to any Predators games?
  22. And you can thank our ENTIRE media for this.
  23. This wasn't a food label, but on a tube of caulking that I bought last week, it was talking about "this product has been found to cause a birth defect in the state of California". Somehow, I found that humorous. Only in California?
